Patty Stevens
Patty Ruth Lansford Stevens, long time resident of Tarrant County, passed away quietly in her home in Bedford Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2008.
Survivors include her daughter, Karla Everson Patterson, co-owner of Video 7 Production Company in Gun Barrel City and husband Randall; grandchildren, Sara Hollis Nevill and husband J. R.; Randall Dykes Patterson and wife Shelley; and Robert Joseph Patterson and wife Mary Jo; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Nevill, Ethan Patterson, Austin Patterson, Alicia Patterson and Erica Patterson; sister Donna Shipman and husband Ogle, Odessa; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stevens was born in Paducah June 17, 1936, to Ima Mae Pope and William Britton Lansford.
She was proud to be a sixth generation Texan and was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Fort Worth. She was retired from Texas Industrial Security at the time of her death.
She will be buried in Odessa next to her mother, father and her brothers, Billy Dave Lansford and Roy Wayne Lansford. She will be missed.

W.T. Hammonds
Services for W.T. Hammonds, 77, Mabank, were held Dec. 26, 2008, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Merchant officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Hammonds was born Dec. 22, 1931, in Kemp and died Dec. 24, 2008, in Mabank.
He had resided in Mabank for the past 35 years and was of the Baptist faith.
He retired in 1995 as the owner of the Gun Barrel City Alternator Shop.
Survivors include his daughters Patricia Holman and husband Billy, Eustace; Sherry Penley and husband Benny, Canton; and Sandra Fuller and husband Billy, Ennis; son Michael Hammonds and wife Cindy, Mabank; two grandsons; seven granddaughters; 23 great-grandchildren; brother Robert Clayton and wife Shelba; other family members and many friends.
Pallbearers were Jaydon Hammonds, Skyler Snell, Jody Talbot, Chris Holman, Waylon Hammonds, Shain Morgan, Thomas Slovak, Billy Stephens and Marty Mitchell.
