Services for Larry Don Fisher, 67, Mabank, were held Jan. 1, 2008, in the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Lakey officiating. Interment was in Shiloh Cemetery in Kaufman County under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Fisher was born Sept. 14, 1940, in Sulphur Springs and died Dec. 30, 2007, in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his father L.D. Fisher, and by brothers Dale and Randy Fisher.
He was the owner of Larry’s Printing and he enjoyed home improvement work.
Survivors include his wife Gayle Fisher, Mabank; daughters Cassie and husband Richard Mullens, Kemp; and Cindy and husband B.J. Dickerson, Mabank; mother Susie Fisher, Mesquite; grandson Tyler Dickerson, Mabank; granddaughters Kirsten Mullens, Kemp; Carissa Dickerson, Mabank; Emily Mullens, Kemp; and Casey Dickerson, Mabank; and brother Bruce Fisher, Mesquite.
Services for Saturnino Perez Padron, 34, Malakoff, were held Dec. 28, 2007, with Bro. Dennis Woods officiating. Burial was at Panteon Municipal, San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Padron was born Dec. 29, 1972, in San Luis de La Paz, Mexico, to Eustolia Perez and Salavador Padron and died Dec. 25, 2007, in Malakoff.
He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife Teresa Perez Padron; brothers Raymundo Padron, Houston; Cecilio Padron, Dallas; Cirilo Padron, Malakoff; Salvador Padron, Arizona; Miguel Padron, Malakoff; and Napoleon Padron, Guanajuato, Mexico; sisters Lorena, Esthela, Maria de la Luz, Cristina, Lidubina, Georgina and Monica Padron, all of Guanajuto, Mexico.
Services for Donald L. Kierig, 62, Enchanted Oaks, was held Jan. 4, 2007, at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Kierig was born June 23, 1945, in Healdsburg, Calif. and died Dec. 21, 2007, in Athens.
Previously of Irving, he had resided in Enchanted Oaks for the past 1˝ years. He retired from American Airlines and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an electrician.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Kierig, Enchanted Oaks; sons Ronald Kierig and wife Florence, North Richland Hills; and Richard Kierig, Irving; daughter Shaunna Christianson, Stockton, Calif.; granddaughters Tamara and Kristen Kierig; brothers William Kierig, Mullins, Idaho; Robert and Ronald Kierig, both of San Diego, Calif.; Michael Kierig, Watauga; and Steve Kierig, Flower Mound; sisters Shannon Bishop and Susan Walter, both of San Diego, Calif.
Services for Audrey Duckworth, 80, Kaufman, were held Jan. 3, 2008, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Chapel in Kemp with interment in Pyle Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Duckworth was born April 8, 1927, to the late Lydia and William Thierfelder and died Jan. 1, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
She graduated from Lovelace School and worked for Zephyr Manufacturing and Reval Manufacturing Co. before moving to Texas in 1958.
She married Herbert Duckworth May 10, 1963, and resided in Garland until moving to Peeltown where she was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years Herbert Duckworth; stepchildren Danny Duckworth, Cloyd Duckworth and Denise Myers; son Darius Duckworth; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers William C. Thierfelder Jr. and F.N. “Bud” Thierfelder; and sister Jean Ford.
Elda Mae Spivey
A memorial service for Elda Mae Spivey, 80, Kemp, was held Jan. 3, 2008, at Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Jacobs officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Spivey was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Limestone County and died Dec. 29, 2007, in Kemp.
She was a homemaker and member of the Eastern Star and Veteran of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include her daughters Waynette Spivey Wills, Dallas; and Dreitha Baumgart, Temple; grandson Timothy Wills, Murphy; and great-grandchildren Jessica, Michael and Matthew; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
