Glenn Murrah
Services for Glenn Allen Murrah, 45, Tool, were held Jan. 14, 2012, at the

Murrah was born July 15, 1966, in Fort Myers, Fla., to Sylvia Holland and
J.W. Murrah and died Jan. 8, 2012, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Glenn Allen Murrah, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Lisa Murrah; children Heide Marie
Taylor and her husband, James Taylor, William Rylan Chambers, Hannah Alise
Chambers and her husband, Joshua Matthew Speak; brother Jimmy Wayne Murrah
and his wife, Elaine; sister Sandra Ann Heinz and her husband, Terry;
grandchildren Greg Clopton, Emily Clopton, Payton Taylor, Chloe Mae Speak;
numerous other family members and many friends.

Aaron Turner
Graveside services for Aaron Edward Turner, 93, of Mabank, were held Jan.
13, 2012, at Payne Springs Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar
Creek Funeral Home.
Turner was born July 21, 1918, in Iredell to Catherine (Ashbrook) and W.F.
Turner and died peacefully Jan. 11, 2012.
He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the local 429 for carpenters for
65 years. He loved animals and worked in Denver, Colo., on B-17s during
World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lilly White and nephew
Lester Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Turner, of Mabank; daughter Carolyn Sue
Jackson and her husband, Terry, of Brighton, Colo.; nephew Phil White and
his wife, Wendy, of Houston; stepdaughters Debbie Williams and her husband,
Jim, of Bullard, Patti Linder of Iowa and Penny Crabtree of Mabank; many
other loving family members and friends.

Paula Henson
Services for Paula Evelyn Henson, 61, of Seven Points, will be held at a
later date.
Henson was born April 9, 1950, in Grand Saline, to Hazel Pittman and Oscar
Robinson and died Jan. 8, 2012, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Thomas; sons Tim Henson, Tom
Henson and wife Ann John Henson, James High, Rodney High and wife Tammy;
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Oliver Hollaway
Services for Oliver Jackson Hollaway, 79, of Crescent Heights, were held
Jan. 14, 2012, at Crescent Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald
Huckabee officiating.
He was born Oct. 16, 1932, in Athens, to Bernice Prentice and Elender
Bernice Alison Hollaway, and died Jan. 8, 2012.
Hollaway worked seven years for Ath-Tex Ceramics, two years for Norman
Pottery and eight years for Texas Clay.
He was preceded in death by sons Kenneth Jackson Hollaway, Jeffrey Bruce
Hollaway and great-grandchildren Keisha Woods and Austin Hollaway.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joan Hollaway, of Malakoff; sons
John Elvis Hollaway, of Log Cabin, Hiram “Johnny“ Hollaway and Tommie Joseph
Hollaway, both of Chandler; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
Herbert Mosley
Services for Herbert Eugene Mosley, 74, of Mabank, will be held at a later
date.
Mosley was born April 27, 1937, in Mobile, Ala., to Monnie Clara (Bell) and
Arthur Eugene Mosley and died Jan. 10, 2012.
He was a member of Clara Baptist Church of Clara, Miss., and the American
Legion Post 310, in Gun Barrel City.
He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda Mosley, sisters Ruth
Barthlett and Monnie Strickland, and brothers Harold and Kenneth Mosley.
Survivors include his children Brian Mosley and wife Cindy, Sherri Mosley,
Greg Mosley, Denise West and husband Rodney, all of Payne Springs; nine
grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sisters Ethel Cantrell and Nita
Chancery; brothers Johnny Mosley, Joe Mosley and Marvin Mosley, all of
Mobile, Ala.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Virgil Gardner
Services for Virgil Dean Gardner, 82, of Dallas, were held Jan. 14, 2012, at
King Cemetery.
Gardner was born Nov. 24, 1929, in Kaufman County, to Dora and George
Gardner and died Jan. 9, 2012.
He was known as “Papa” by his grandchildren and was a member of Hawn Freeway
Church of Christ in Dallas.
He was a welder for 49 years in the production industry and a proud WWII
veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, children Michael and Ricky, seven
brothers, two sisters and grandchild Jason Clay.
Survivors include his wife, Julia, of Dallas; son Roger and his wife, Karen;
grandsons Jason and his wife, Rita, Eric, all of Ben Wheeler, Weldon and his
wife, Mandy, of Wills Point; granddaughters Misty and her husband, Shawn, of
Wills Point and Jennifer and her husband, Jarrett, of Ben Wheeler; many
other family and friends.
