George Greene
Services for George Greene, 55, of Mabank, were held Jan. 27, at the
Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp. Interment followed in
Caddo Mills in the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) Cemetery.
Greene was born Oct. 12, 1956, in Great Falls, Mont., to Jean Jordan and
Thomas Curtis Greene and died Jan. 24, 2012.
He was a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician and owned his
own company. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School and was the
youngest manager for the T.G.I. Fridays restaurant franchise as well as a
consultant, traveling the country utilizing his expertise in other T.G.I.
Fridays locations.
Greene loved to fish in Cedar Creek Lake as well as cook and complete
crossword puzzles.
He is preceded in death by his father, sister Christina Kay Brady and his
dog, “Disco.”
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Genene Greene, of Mabank; his
mother; daughter Roxanne Stone and her husband, John, of Kerrville; son T.C
Greene of Mabank; sisters Linda Sue Martinez and Judith Anne Greene of
Dallas; brother Tommy Charles Greene of Okla.; grandchildren Caanan Greene
and Aiden Stone of Kerrville; numerous nieces, nephews, great friends and
special dog “Lacy.”
