Bessie McLain
Services for Bessie Hazel McLain, 93, were held Feb. 2, 2012, at Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff with Bro. Dale Norris officiating.
McLain was born June 12, 1918, in Malakoff, to Rosa Lee Scott and Robert Allen McLain and died Jan. 30, 2012, in Athens.
She worked as a cashier at Phillips Food in Malakoff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Annie, Jessie, Pauline and Helen, brothers Linder, Alton, Purvis, Gordon, Mack Lannis, Buford, Earnest and Sam.
Survivors include her nephews Kevin Kilman and his wife, Lisa, Kyle Kilman and his wife, Kynne, Dan McLain, Vernon Hustead, Booby Ray Hustead, Robert A McLain and Bobby Dosser; nieces Linda Clark, Ann Durocher and Tommie Ann Burkham.
Pallbearers were Todd Hustead, Hank Hustead, Broc Kilman, Patrick Kilman, Page Durocher and Paige McLain.

Tommy Wright
Graveside services for Tommy Joe Wright, 62, of Fort Worth, were held Jan. 29, 2012, at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early, with Dr. D. Casey Perry officiating under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Wright was born June 14, 1949, to Sadie Dixon and Cecil Wright and died Jan. 27, 2012, in Fort Worth.
He loved football, the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with his family and being part of the deaf community.
Survivors include his first cousins, Lettie B. Perry and her husband, Casey, of Malakoff; Sammie Chambers of Coleman, Molly Sears of Brownwood, Joy Westbrook and husband Ken of Haslet, Nell Smith and husband Marion of Brownwood, Charlene Massey and husband Mile of Brownwood; and numerous other family members.
