Don Marion
Services for Gary Don Marion, 64, Eustace, were held Feb. 13, 2010, in the Eubank Memorial
Chapel with the Rev. Paul McKinney officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek
Funeral Home in Mabank.
Marion was born April 6, 1945, in Fort Worth and died Feb. 10, 2010, in Athens.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clearcy and Aulton Marion.
He had resided in Eustace since 1994, and was Baptist by faith. He was a veteran of the
U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Young Marion, Eustace; son Marc Scott Marion, Dallas;
sisters Joyce Sledd and husband Bill, Canton; and Judy Shelton and husband Bill, Edgewood;
mother-in-law Joyce McFall, Eustace; sister-in-law Joylee Ray, Eustace; nieces, nephews,
other family members and many friends.

Services for Don Castleberry, 60, Gun Barrel City, were held Feb. 16, 2010, at the Eubank
Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brent Tucker officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar
Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Castleberry was born March 8, 1949, in Ferda, Ark., and died Feb. 12, 2010, in Gun Barrel
City.
Previously of Cedar Hill, he had resided in Gun Barrel City for 18 years and was a veteran
of the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam.
He was Baptist by faith and a great man and best father in the world.
Survivors include his daughter Tiffany Dawn Castleberry, Gun Barrel City; brother Woodrow
Aaron Castleberry Jr., Pine Bluff, Ark.; sisters Wanda Jean Guidry, Morgan City, La.;
Peggy Marie Webb, Rison, Ark.; Kathryn McNeall, Scott, Ark.; Deloris Cantrell, North
Little Rock, Ark.; and Sandra Ann Hautsch, Russelville, Ark.; nieces, nephews, other
family members and many friends. Also, two four-legged grandkids.

Darlene Cates
A memorial service for Darlene Bass Cates, 59, Dallas, will be held at a later date under
the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Cates was born May 2, 1950, in Dallas and died Feb. 13, 2010, in Athens.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Bass.
Survivors include sons Jimmy Wayne Raymond, and Larry Austin McMillan, both of Ola;
daughter Kimberly McMillan, Gun Barrel City; grandson Jeremy Wayne Massingale, Fort Worth;
granddaughter Christi Kay McGlothing, Payne Springs; sisters Maggie Arnold, Mesquite; Judy
Bradenburg and husband Wayne, Forney; and Barbara Brewer and husband Reggie, Prairieville;
four great-grandchildren: other family members and many friends
Randy W. Smith
Services for Randy W. Smith, 59, Gun Barrel City, were held Feb. 18, 2010, at the Cedar
Creek Memorial Park with Chaplain Mike Ferguson officiating under the direction of Eubank
Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Smith was born July 6, 1950, in Dallas and died Feb. 16, 2010, in the Kerens Care Center
in Kerens.
He was Baptist by faith and loved dogs and the outdoors.
Survivors include his mother Loretta Smith, Gun Barrel City; daughter Gladys Brady, Payne
Springs; granddaughter Melissa Sproles, Seven Points; three great-grandchildren; and many
