Vicky Barnsley
Services for Vicky Lynn Hutchings Barnsley, 50, were held at Moorhead Epps Memorial Chapel
in Gun Barrel City with the Rev. Calvin Beach officiating. Burial was in Resthaven
Memorial Park in Corsicana.
Barnsley was born Sept. 22, 1959, in Dallas to the home of Helen Maxine Lewis and Jimmie
Lee Hutchings and died Feb. 13, 2010, in Gun Barrel City.
She was preceded in death by her father Jimmie Lee Hutchings.
Survivors include her husband Gordon Eugene Barnsley, Kemp; daughter Heather Kay Barnsley,
Richardson; sisters Vivian Gay Beach and husband Marcus, Cypress Springs; and Ginger Kay
Hughey and husband Walter, Kaufman; nephew Timothy Shane Brockway, Kaufman; great-nephew
Dayton Brockway, Kaufman; niece Leslie Danielle Brockway, Kaufman; great-niece Mariah
Nicole Brockway, Kaufman; mother Helen Maxine Lewis, Kemp; father and mother-in-law Carla
Bernice and Sydney Oliver Barnsley, Tryon, N.C.
Pallbearers were Marcus Beach, Scotty Steward, Walter Hughey, Richard Collier, Shane
Brockway and Dayton Brockway. Bobby Basham
Services for Bobby Lewis Basham, 70, Gun Barrel City, were held Feb. 23, 2010, in the
Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Jacobs officiating under the direction of
Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Basham was born Dec. 2, 1939, in Soper, Okla. and died Feb. 18, 2010.
Previously of Dallas, he had resided in Gun Barrel City for the past two years and loved
to fish.
Survivors include his wife Maggie Basham, Gun Barrel City; son Bobby Glen Basham and wife
Cheryl, Lancaster; daughters Penny Wierzbicki and husband John, Vestal, N.Y.; and Donna
Keith and husband Dale, East Texas; and brother Harvie Basham, Gun Barrel City; six
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Lola Mae Jones
Services for Lola Mae Jones, 89, Kaufman, were held Feb. 20, 2010, at the Eubank Memorial
Chapel with Pastor Bobby Jock officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery under the
direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Jones was born Sept. 15, 1920, in Gainsville and died Feb. 18, 2010, in Kaufman.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Jones and four brothers.
Previously of Mesquite, she had resided in Kaufman for the past 2½ years and was a member
of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Eustace.
She grew up in Mabank, moved to Dallas in 1949, to Mesquite in 1988 and Kaufman in 2007.
Survivors include her daughter Delores Ann Allen and husband Steven, Kaufman; grandson
Steven Shane Allen and wife Courtney, San Pimas, Calif.; granddaughter Alicia Rogers and
husband Steven, Good Hope, Ill.; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and
friends.
Pallbearers were J.N. Kirkpatrick, Larry Williams, Jim Romo, James Jones, Jerry Don Jones
and Dan Lowrey.

Geraldine Linthicum
Services for Geraldine Linthicum, 70, Gun Barrel City, were held at Moorhead Epps Memorial

Linthicum was born Oct. 21, 1939, in Arlington to the home of Myrtle Ree Sherwood and
George Harris and died Feb. 11, 2010, in Tyler.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years Lloyd Linthicum, Gun Barrel City; sons Terry
Harris and wife Betty, Godley; Larry Linthicum, Midlothian; and Jerry Linthicum,
Arlington; daughter Rhonda Taggart and husband Bryan, Gun Barrel City; brother James
Harris, Rainbow; sister Joan Heflin, Arlington; six grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; other loving family and friends.
Lillie Belle Williams
Services for Lillie Belle Williams, 72, Log Cabin, were held Feb. 22, 2010, at the
Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff with Josh McDonald officiating. Burial was in
Payne Cemetery.
Williams was born June 4, 1937, to Pearline Beatrice Flinn and Charlie Garner and died
Feb. 18, 2010, in Log Cabin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charlie A. Garner and A.L. Garner and
sister Dorthea Garner.
She was employed as a rate clerk for a trucking company.
Survivors are her husband of 50 years Loyd Leon Williams, Log Cabin; son Loyd Leon
Williams Jr. and wife Teressa, Nacogdoches; daughters Lynnette Batchelor, Log Cabin;
Sharon Tomison, Bourne; and Barbara LeBlanc and husband Michael, Joshua; sisters Rita
Parish, Carol Hyten and Elizabeth McNeil; brothers Jerry and John Garner; 13
grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Loyd Williams Jr., Gary Batchelor, Mike LeBlanc, Denny Griffin Jr., Sean
