Services for Louis Leo Weber, 65, Kemp, were held Jan. 31, 2009, at the Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp. Burial followed at the Shiloh Cemetery in Kaufman County.
Weber was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Douglas, Ariz., to Hortense Campa and Louie Weber and died Jan. 27, 2009, in Kemp.
He was preceded in death by his wife, sister Judy and parents.
Weber married Virginia Nell Harris Sept. 19, 1965. They shared 38 years and had three children Tiffany, White Bear Lake, Minn.; Todd, Kemp; and Tonya, Woodbury, Minn.
Weber was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, teacher and friend. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the Kaufman Ward.
He loved the scriptures and was extremely knowledgeable about them and the gospel.
His hobbies included woodturning, collecting model cars, rocks and gems and spending time traveling to visit with family and friends.
He was loved and respected by many and will be truly missed.
Survivors include his three children; brother John Lee Weber, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; grandchildren Kalee and Sierra; close personal friend Crystal Goynes; daughter-in-law Melanie Weber; and countless other relatives and friends.
Russell Eugene “Gene” Lundy died Feb. 21, 2009, in Dallas, after a long battle with colon cancer.
Lundy was born May 18, 1938, in Corsicana to Pearl and Jesse Lundy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lloyd Lundy.
He was a retired draftsman and had achieved the Black Belt in Karate. He loved the Lord and read his Bible daily.
Survivors include his brothers Harold Lundy and Leonard Lundy, both of the Dallas area; cousin Floyd Mooney, Tool; and other relatives.
