Gordon Brady Jr.
Arrangements for a later memorial and interment services in Laguna
Woods, Calif., for Gordon Edgar Brady Jr., 52, Tool, are under the
direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Brady was born Aug. 25, 1956, in Washington, D.C., the son of Gordon
Edgar Brady Sr. and the late Wilma Mae Hunn Brady and died March 17,
2009, in Seven Points.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Gladys Brady and son Scott Brady; daughter
Shannon Brady; father Gordon Edgar Brady Sr.; brother Roger R. Brady;
sister Patricia Swan; and two grandchildren.
Charles Anthony
Graveside services for Charles C. Anthony, 71, Athens, were held March
20, 2009, at Oaklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Jimmy McPherson
officiating under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens.
Anthony was born July 27, 1937, in Eustace to the late Lockie Ethel
Featherston and Robert A. Anthony and died March 17, 2009, in Athens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sue Cave Anthony and
brothers L.B. Anthony Sr., Eddie Harold Anthony and Jerry Anthony.
He was a resident of Henderson County most of his life and a retired
auto mechanic.
Survivors include his son James Anthony and wife Lisa, Athens; daughter
Charla Johnson and husband Chad, Eustace; brother Robert “T-Boy”
Anthony, Elmo; grandchildren Colt and Ashley Anthony, Meggan adn
Madeline Johnson; great-grandchildren Codie, Brayden, Emily and Hannah
Anthony; mother-in-law Wilma Cave, Athens; numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers were James Melton, Terry McGee, Larry Farley, Leland
Lambright, Larry Carmichael and Ronald Anthony.
