MALAKOFFLoved With A Cross was always his first choice.
There are so many powerful Easter dramas, but the moment I listened to the
challenging music score of Loved With A Cross, I knew our choir would
appreciate and meet its demands. They have not disappointed me, minister of music
and education at the First Baptist Church of Malakoff Eric Beechem said.
According to Beechem, there are multiple unique qualities to the drama.
The music is written like a Hollywood film score, which makes it enjoyable to the
audience. The story is told from the viewpoint of Thomas, the doubting
The audience will be challenged throughout the drama. As in life, they will need to be
searching for Jesus.
Jesus is everywhere in the drama, yet never seen. Its interesting to me that
Jesus is truly the star of this production, yet not a character, Beechem
This drama is truly unlike any other, and we are blessed to be able to offer it to
our community, he added.
The sanctuary at FBC Malakoff has been totally transformed for the musical.
The entire choir loft has been replaced with a complete set for the play, including a
dramatic cross placed high above the baptistery.
The cast includes close to 50 choir members, actors, and a full audio and tech team.
Our church is definitely blessed with a multitude of talent. I am thankful to be
with a group of people who use their gifts for His glory, Beechem said.
Loved With A Cross will be presented at 7 p.m. April 2-3 and Easter Sunday at
Admission is free, and childcare is provided.

|The domino effect is a chain reaction that occurs when a small
change causes a similar change nearby, which then will cause another similar change, and
so on. My name is Domino, and I got my name not only because Im black and white like
a domino tile, but also because my outgoing, cheerful personality causes my doggie
roommates to smile. This also causes our human friends to smile, which even causes the
kitties in the cat room to smile.
I am an 8-month-old male Pointer/Terrier mix. I love children, other dogs, and even get
along great with kitties. Ive had all my shots and am ready to be adopted. If
youd like to experience the domino effect, I am sure to put a forever smile on your
face when you take me to my forever home.
I currently live with a foster family, so if you would like to meet me, call my friends at
