Dale Bennett
Visitation for Albert Dale Bennett, 75, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday,
April 5, 2012, (today) at the Providence Baptist Church of Tool. Funeral
services will follow at 1 p.m with Bros. Steven Palmer and Tobey Clements
officiating under the care of Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Tool Cemetery.
Bennett was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Dallas, to Marrion Leola and Albert Henry
Bennett and died April 1, 2012, in Tool.
He was a welder and pipe fitter for 30 years and a member of the Plumbers
and Steamfitters Local 100 for 55 years.
He is preceded in death by his father and brothers Larry Don and Jerry Wayne
Bennett.
Survivors include his wife Josephine “Jo” Bennett; mother; sons Mark Bennett
of Flower Mound and Derek Bennett of Tool; daughters Tammy Bennett Prevost
of Tool and Debbie Bennett of Quinlan; stepdaughters Jo Anna Kendall of
Athens and Tracey Crysdale of Shady Shores; brothers Bobby Bennett and
Ronnie Bennett and wife Darla, all of Eustace; sisters Angeline Howard of
Dallas, Donna Pallett and husband Billy of Malakoff, grandchildren Samantha
Lynn Bennett, Logan Dakota Murrow and Austin Dale Prevost; stepgrandchildren
Carson Nolan and Camryn Leigh Crysdale.

Stella Jewett
Services for Stella Ruth Jewett, 71, were held April 2, 2012, at Caney Creek
Baptist Church, in Log Cabin, under the direction of Huckabee/Tomlinson
Funeral Homes in Seven Points.
Jewett was born Oct. 4, 1940, in Gonzales, to Bessie Bell Bingham and Willie
James Neal and died March 27, 2012, in Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Willie Carson, Melvin
Eugene and Jerry Wayne Neal.
Survivors include her husband, Norman Jewett; daughters Sherry Lish Rattigan
and husband Shawn and Tammy Rivard and husband Jimmy; grandsons Travis and
wife Tricia Lish, R-Jay and Andrew Cole Hoosier; granddaughter Brandy Lea
and husband Nevada Litterell; great-granddaughters Leah Lish, Katelynn,
Kayleigh and Alexis; brother Jake Keller Neal; sister Joy Madeline Neal.
Billie Love
Services for Billie Nell Love, 82, of Gun Barrel City, were held April 1,
2012, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel.
Love was born April 30, 1929, in Wills Point, to Eddie Nell Brackeen and Joe
Carrol and died in her home March 29, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Johnny Paul Gathings and her
sister, Marylee Chaney.
Survivors include daughters Brenda McClendon of Gun Barrel City and Linda
Hall and her husband, Ed, of Emory; nine grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; sisters Jackie Pollei and Wanda Jacobs both of Mabank;
brothers Joe Brackeen Jr. of Mabank and James Brackeen of Lubbock; numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Dicky Moore
Services for Dicky Lee Moore, 56, of Mabank, were held March 30, 2012, at
Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with interment following at Elm Grove
Cemetery.
Moore was born March 4, 1956, in Dallas, to Mary Josephine and Billy Wayne
Moore and died March 27, 2012.
He was quick to make a joke and enjoyed socializing with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Rickey Moore.
He is survived by his three sons, Kevin, Jeff and Brian Moore, all of Gun
Barrel City; grandchildren Jaden and Alyssa; sisters Billy Jo Bridges and
husband Mike and Janet Wilbanks and her husband, Quinton, all of Mabank;
brother Donald Moore and his wife, Linda, of Itasca; as well as other loving
family members and many friends.

Gary Ball
Services for Gary Lee Ball, 64, of Kemp, were held April 3, 2012, at
Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Ball was born Sept. 2, 1947, in Dallas, to Elizabeth Watkins and Woodrow
Ball and died March 29, 2012, in Tyler.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He worked at Almco and
Hussman refrigeration for many years.
Ball was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Kemp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Ball and stepson Terry
Powell.
Survivors include his wife, Pat, of Kemp; sons Les Ball of Dallas and Thomas
Blankenship and wife Sheila; daughter Kim Eddleman and husband Todd of
Frisco; stepchildren Curtis Powell of Wills Point, Vicky Powell and fiancé
Mike of Kemp and Randy Powell and wife Michelle of Euless; sister Patricia
Ball of the Woodlands; niece Tammy Valentine of the Woodlands, and nephew
Chris Valentine; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Linda Hill
Services for Linda Lanell Hill, 70, of Peeltown, were held April 2, 2012, at
Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman. Burial was held at Laurel Land
Cemetery in Dallas.
Hill was born Feb. 23, 1942, to Ivy Freeman and Lester Sterling Robinson and
died March 30, 2012, in Dallas.
She was raised in Kermit and moved to Dallas in 1963. She then moved to
DeSoto and Peeltown in 1979.
She was a member of Styx Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
She married Raymond Lavond Hill March 5, 1965, in Dallas.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond, of Kemp; sons Leslie Hill of DeSoto
and Ray Hill of Charleston, Ark.; daughters Rebecca Eason and her husband,
Leonard, of Kemp and Carol White and her husband, Jon, of Stephenville;
grandchildren Tommy Randall, Kala and Trey Hill; great-grandchildren Bailey,
Tate and Ty Randall; many other relatives and friends.
Faye Hill
Services for Faye McWhirter Hill, 87, of Gun Barrel City, were held April 1,
2012, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with interment following at
Brigham Cemetery.
Hill was born Jan. 24, 1925, in Greenville, to Hazel and Willie McWhirter
and died March 28, 2012.
She graduated valedictorian from Campbell High School. She worked at Texas
and Pacific Railroad and McShan Florist before eventually retiring from
Deminex U.S. Oil after 17 years.
She was a member of the Cedar Creek Country Club and Cedar Creek Lake United
Methodist Church and enjoyed embroidering and reading.
She was survived by her husband, Joe Hill; daughters Mary Hill Moss and
husband John of Irving and Holly Hill Kincaid and husband Robert of Plano;
grandchildren Jeff, Andrew and Kathleen Moss; other family members and many
friends.

Virgie Key
Graveside services for Virgie Viola Abbott Key, 93, were held April 2, 2012,
at Moorehead-Melton Cemetery, in Eustace, under the direction of Eubank
Funeral Home, in Canton.
Key was born Jan. 8, 1919, at Groveton, to Pearl Hall and Albert Abbott and
died March 30, 2012, at West Place Nursing Home, in Athens.
She enjoyed country life and spending time with her family, especially her
grandchildren. She was an avid painter and a member of Zion Hill Assembly of
God Church, in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. D. Key, son Danny and brothers
Zane, Emmett, and Clint.
Survivors include her daughter Vicki Travis and husband Bob, of Carrollton;
son James Key and wife Irene of Eustace; sister Fane Morton of Eustace;
grandchildren Robert Sullivan of Waxahachie, Rene’ Riek of Bedford, Aaron
Sullivan of Lewisville, and Bryant Key of Eustace; two nephews and one
niece; five great grandchildren; several grand nephews and grand nieces.

Grace Finley
Services for Grace Finley, 94, of Mabank, will be held at a later date.
Finley was born June 7, 1917, in Van Zandt County, to Callie and Thomas
Stephens and died March 29, 2012.
She was Baptist by faith, loved Jesus and was a grandma to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Lewis Finley and
daughter W. Janelle Brookshire.
Survivors include her granddaughters, Tamara Ramsey and husband Terry of
Petersburg, Va., Stephanie Brown and husband Robert of Euless, Catherine
Otterline and husband Kenneth of Mabank, Carla Brookshire and husband
Brandon of Dallas; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren;
sister-in-law Ruth Stephens of Dallas; son-in-law Bill Brookshire; other
family members and many friends.
