Rebecca
Ellard
Services for Rebecca “Beckie” Ellard, 79, Mabank, were held April 16,
2009, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ed Schauer
officiating. Burial was in Baird Cemetery in Van Zandt County, beside
her husband of 63 years, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek
Funeral Home in Mabank.
Ellard was born Aug. 8, 1929, to Fleta Belle Curry and Evay Renoy McHand
in Coushatta, La., and died April 12, 2009, in her home surrounded by
family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Dale Ellard Easter
Sunday 2008.
She had resided in Mabank for 25 years after her husband retired from
STM Oil Corporation in Denver, Colo.
She was a homemaker who devoted her life to those she loved.
She was a supporting wife, a wonderful caring mother and grandmother,
and a lover of animals.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her devoted daughter Carol Sue Wagner and husband
Vernon, Mabank; granddaughters Michelle Leigh White and husband Floyd,
Mabank; and Katherine Wagner and fiancé Chris Sleeper, Lake Highlands;
great-granddaughters Kaitlyn, Ashleigh and Shelby White, all of Mabank;
sister Evelyn Richey, Sanger; many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers, who carried her to her final resting place, were Vernon
Wagner, Floyd White, Chris Sleeper, Ivan Richert, Danny Anders and Rob
Anders.
Geraldine Renfro
Services for Geraldine W. Renfro, 88, Gun Barrel City, were held April
17, 2009, at Wilmer Cemetery with the Rev. Eston Williams officiating
under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Renfro was born Nov. 25, 1920, in Ferris and died April 12, 2009, in Gun
Barrel City.
Previously of Washington, D.C., she was a homemaker and had resided in
Gun Barrel City for the past 25 years.
Survivors include her husband George Renfro, Gun Barrel City; sons
William Art Renfro, Valencia, Calif.; and Carl D. Renfro, Sacramento,
Calif.; daughter Cynthia Sue Christopher, Athens; brother Bob Winn,
Dallas; other family members and many friends. |
