Memorial services for Ricky Stewart, 49, Kemp, will be held at a later date under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Stewart was born Feb. 12, 1959, in Dallas to Ann Brown and Carroll Oliver Stewart and died April 19, 2008, in Kemp.
He was a mechanic for Midsouth Roller.
Survivors include his parents, daughter Amanda Darlene Stewart, and brother Steven Craig Stewart.
Services for Glenn Arment,. 56, Mabank, were held April 27, 2008, at the Arlington Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Mike Tucker officiating, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Arment was born Oct. 21, 1951, in Lancaster County, Pa., and died April 23, 2008, in Mabank.
Previously of Grand Prairie, he had resided in Mabank for the past five years. He was a retired merchandiser from MSI Merchandising.
Survivors include his wife Judy Paslay, Mabank; son Bobby Arment, Milwaukee, Wis.; daughter Tiffany Arment, Arlington; stepsons Chris Paslay and wife Stephanie, Mabank; and Jeff Paslay and wife Angela, Tool; stepdaughter Sheila Morgan and husband Kim, Point; brother Elvin Arment and wife Dottie, Lancaster County, Pa.; sister Mary Jane Meyer and husband Bill, Lancaster County, Pa.; one grandson and seven step-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mary Christman Holden Garrie, 90, Chandler, were held April 24, 2008, at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Corpus Christi, with the Rev. Larry Holden officiating under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home in Chandler.
Garrie was born Dec. 1, 1917, in San Angelo and died April 20, 2008, in Chandler.
She was a resident of Mabank 22 years, Tyler five years and Chandler one year. She graduated from McAllen High School in 1935. She was a civil service supervisor for the U.S. government.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mabank and a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women.
Also, Cedar Creek Lake Women’s Club, National Association of Retired Federal Employees and National Association of Retired Supervisors of the Federal Government.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Shelley Dean Hyde, 40, Vidor, were held April 26, 2008, at the First Assembly of God in Eustace with the Revs. Tim Howard and Jim Leach officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Hyde was born March 14, 1968, in Athens and died April 20, 2008.
She was a waitress.
Survivors include her daughters Leslie Moore and husband Adam, Gun Barrel City; and Rochell Bowden, Eustace; son Tom Cody Bowden, Eustace; mother Sue Charlene Bricker, Mesquite; father Gary Hyde, Eustace; granddaughter Brooklyn Moore, Gun Barrel City; brothers Tommy Hyde and wife Jayna, Eustace; and James Bricker, Mesquite; grandfather E.H. Hyde, Eustace; nephew Thomas “Big” Hyde, Eustace; other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Bailey, James Bailey, Lynn Tucker, Porky Tucker, Jerry Grisham, Chris Hyde and Bucky Hyde.
