Cindy Higginbotham
Cindy Marie Higginbotham, 48, Athens, was born Jan. 25, 1961, in Ennis and died April 25, 2009, in Athens. Arrangements are under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Previously of Payne Springs she had resided in Athens for the past 10 years. She was a baker.
Survivors include her sons Robert Lewis Higginbotham and Justin Alton Higginbotham, both of Athens; mother Viola Jean Folmar, Athens; brothers Robert Folmar, Terrell; and Alton Folmar, Dallas; friend Susan Christy Brown, Athens; and grandchild Lacey Alexious Higginbotham.

John Hathcock
John Michael Hathcock, 57, of Dallas passed away April 26, 2009, at 10:40 p.m. in Fort Worth with his four sons by his side.
He was born in North Carolina to Rachel and Dewey Hathcock.
He was a tour bus driver for the last 20 years. He enjoyed race cars with his brother Frank in their younger years.
He will be truly missed by all whose lives he has touched.
John is survived by his sons Michael Hathcock and wife Dianna of Kemp; Keith Hathcock and wife Stephanie of Kemp; Chris Hathcock and wife Lana of Rockwall; and Brian Hathcock of Celeste.
Also, he is survived by his brother Frank Hathcock and his wife Mary of Ennis; sister Judy Hathcock of Ennis; grandchildren Ashley, Justin, Cody, Dakota, Candiss, Alexa, Hunter, Dalton, Hudson and Raven Hathcock and Christian, Ryan and Jaicee Early; numerous nieces and nephews, and several lifelong friends; his girlfriend Leann Little and her family of Clarksville, Tenn.
John was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Larry and Kenny Hathcock, sister Rebecca Hathcock and his grandson Hunter Hathcock.
We know you were tired, you fought as long as you could. You’re in Heaven now, fishing and playing ball with Hunter. You will always be in our hearts.
