Billie Jo McKee
Services for Billie Jo McKee, 79, Mabank, were held May 6, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Mabank with the Rev. Brent Tucker and Michael McKee officiating. Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
McKee was born June 6, 1927, in Buffalo and died May 4, 2007, in Mabank.
Previously of Dallas, she had lived in Mabank for the past 24 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mabank.
She was a former director of the Tri-County Library.
Survivors include her daughters Mary Virginia McKee Dunn, Mabank; and Paula Jane McKee Botsford, Lufkin; son Jim McKee, Mabank; grandchildren Lisa Dunn Furiano, James Earl Dunn, Blake Dunn, Michael McKee, Shanna McKee Garcia, Caleb Botsford and Sarah Botsford; and one great-grandchild Nick Dunn.
Pallbearers were James Dunn, Blake Dunn, Jeff Furiano, Caleb Botsford, Michael McKee and Robert Garcia.

Afton O. Flowers
Services for Afton O. Flowers, 82, Mabank, were held May 10, 2007, in the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Bob Patterson officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
He was born March 1, 1925, in Van Zandt County and died May 4, 2007, in Mabank.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife Ann Flowers, Mabank; stepdaughters Helena Russell and husband Christopher, Arlington; and Monique Traywick and husband Paul, Mabank; and grandson Cillian Russell.

Louis A. Ledbetter
Services for Louis A. Ledbetter, 73, Mabank, were held May 10, 2007, at the Payne Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Barker officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Ledbetter was born Aug. 24, 1933, in Black Oak, Ark., and died May 7, 2007, in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Ledbetter, brothers Paul and Andrew Ledbetter.
Previously of Dallas, he had lived in Mabank for the past 28 years and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was a farmer and veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was a member of the
American Legion.
Survivors include his sons Louis A. Ledbetter Jr. and wife Angela, Gun Barrel City; Harold G. Ledbetter and wife Denise, Port Huron, Mich.; Frank E. Ledbetter, Dallas; and Jerry D. Ledbetter and wife Elizabeth, St. Petersburg, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother George S. Ledbetter, Oklahoma; and sister Anna Mae Ledbetter, Moline, Ill.

Jackie P. Malone
Services for Jackie P. Malone, 46, Kemp, were held May 9, 2007, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Hensley officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank. Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park.
Malone was born March 13, 1961, in Cookeville, Tenn., and died May 7, 2007, in Dallas.
Previously of Cookeville, Tenn., he was a truck driver and had lived in Kemp since 1993. He was of the Baptist faith. After retirement from Coca Cola he sold cars for Daddy Danís used cars in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife Terry Malone, Kemp; son Billy Malone, Kemp; daughter Carla Box and husband Shane, Canton; brother Ronnie Rice, Cookeville, Tenn.; sister, Mickey Suzanne McBroom, Cookeville, Tenn.; grandson Augustus Box and granddaughters Alexis and Dixie Box; mother Ruby Vickers and husband Verbie, Cookeville, Tenn.
Pallbearers were Wesley Short, Ricky Jackson, Carl Laird Jr., Shane Box, Bill Malone and Craig Maksud.
