Kenneth Ford
Graveside services for Kenneth Lloyd Ken Ford, 50, were held May 8, 2010, at
the King Cemetery in Kemp with pastor Charles Ford officiating under the direction of
Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City.
Ford was born Oct. 25, 1959, in Lamesa to Ernestine Hughes and Duke Ford Sr., and died May
4, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Duke Ford and nephew Billy Ray
Ford.
Survivors include his children Annette Emery and husband Robert; Cheryl Winsor and husband
Jason; and Dana Gonzales and husband Adrian; brothers Charles Ford and wife Karen; Richard
Ford and wife Linda; Jimmy Ford and wife Donna; J.D. Butch Ford; sisters
Claircie Peeler and husband Thomas; Donna Harper and husband Robert; Lee Rainwater and
husband Jack Baker; Mary Pruitt and husband Johnny; and Glenna Ashton; seven
grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.Alice

Services for Alice Ruth Hammonds, 83, Gun Barrel City, were held May 7, 2010, at the First
Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City with the Rev. Byron Jones officiating. Burial was in
Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Hammonds was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Mabank and died May 5, 2010, in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Hammonds and a brother and sister.
She was born and raised in Mabank and graduated from Mabank High School. She was a member
of the First Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City.
Survivors include her sons Orval Lee Woodley, Tyler; and Dwight Allen Woodley, Tool;
daughters Brenda Snyder, Gun Barrel City; and Patricia Etheridge, Gun Barrel City; brother
Richard Tarlton, Arlington; sister Jessie Sanders, Mabank; 14 grandchildren; several
great-grandchildren; other family members and many friends.
Pallbearers were Orval Woodley, Dwight Woodley, Norman Nottingham, Terry Wycough, Daniel
Etheridge, Curtis Nottingham and Marcus Maxfield.
Annie Weaver
Annie Weaver, 83, died May 9, 2010, in Kaufman. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Thursday (today), May 13, 2010, at Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home with Rev.
Herschal Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Weaver was born Feb. 2, 1927 in Jefferson County, Ky. to the late Dorothy Netherland and
Joel Pearl Moore.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Roberson; second husband, Jimmie
Weaver; son, Harold Roberson; and grandchildren, Keith Johnson and Aleisha Roberson.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Miller and her husband, T.O. Miller; son, Darrell
Roberson and wife Deborah Roberson; daughter-in-law Sharon Roberson; 10 grandchildren, 17
great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. |
