Mabank moves up in state baseball rankings

MABANK–After defeating the sixth-ranked Carthage Bulldogs last week, Mabank’s state rankings improved to 26th in the MaxPreps Class 3A standings. Carthage dropped to eighth place.

Out of all schools in Region II, Mabank is in 63rd place.
Mabank (18-7) faced the fifth-ranked Texarkana Pleasant Grove Hawks (26-5) this weekend in round two of the playoffs.
The Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) has the Hawks ranked fourth in Class 3A.
