Pleasant Grove ends Panthers’
baseball season

 KILGORE–To
hear Mabank head baseball coach Jeff Johnson explain this
season, no team wanted “it” more than Mabank. “It” being to
advance in the playoffs and win games. And advance, they did.

With a team chemistry and a work ethic to make
professionals feel embarrassed, Mabank won the district
championship for the first time since 1989.
Mabank won their first playoff game since ... nobody can
remember when ... after defeating the sixth-ranked Carthage
Bulldogs.
