MABANK–Those lazy days of retirement are fast approaching for
Mabank Post Office employee Martha Sturch.
Her last day is Friday, June 1, at which time she will join her
husband, Don, a retired electrician who owned his own business.
She has spent almost 29 of her 36 years with the postal service
in Mabank.
It has been her friendly face at the middle lobby window that
has greeted customers as they mailed packages, purchased stamps
and took advantage of other postal services.
“I have been with the Mabank Post Office since 1983. First at
the old post office and then here at the new building,” Sturch
said.
