Walker, Norman named top
Mabank athletes

MABANK–Mabank Lady Panther soccer and basketball standout Ashton
Norman, and multi-sport star Ryan Walker, were named Mabank High
School’s athletes of the year at the annual Varsity Sports
Banquet on May 21.

Sports Banquet on May 21.
The banquet, sponsored by the Mabank Athletic
Booster Club, honors Mabank athletes for their accomplishments
on and off the playing field.
After a meal and a time of fellowship, booster club president
Kyle Walker opened the ceremony.
New Panther athletics director Jared Wingfield spoke briefly of
how impressed he has been with the athletes and athletic
program.
Accolades and recognition were then passed down from coaches to
players as the awards portion of the evening began.
