Antonio Lopez
A Mass of Christian Burial for Antonio Lopez, 71, Gun Barrel City, was held June 7, 2008, at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Francis O’Dowd officiating. Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park in Mabank under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Lopez was born Nov. 22, 1936, in Lockhart and died June 4, 2008, in Gun Barrel City.
Previously of Dallas, he had resided in Gun Barrel City for the past seven years and was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church. He retired as a supervisor from Affinia Co. of Dallas after 38 years. He was a kind hearted man and made friends easily.
Survivors include his wife Maria Lopez; daughters Dolores Parras and husband Daniel; Grace Lopez; Hope Rico and husband Jessie; Alice Lopez; and Angelica Lopez and fiancé Daniel; sons Antonio Lopez Jr., and wife Maria; Alexander Lopez; and Dominic Lopez and wife Vicki; sisters Patuka and Yolanda, Austin; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Daniel Parras, Gabriel Lopez, Matthew Rico, Manuel Noriega, Julian Bazaldua, Lawrence Pulido, Edward Pulido and James Acevedo Jr.
