MHS basketball camp
The 16th annual Mabank Basketball Camp for boys in grades 2-9 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, June 27-30, at the MHS gym.
Fee for the camp is $60, and includes a T-shirt. Applications can be picked up at the MHS athletic office, or contact head coach Mark Allen at (903) 530-0611, or Jimmy English at (972) 839-2194.
Campers will work on fundamental skills during station drills, along with group and team competitions, under coaches with state championships, as well as All-American and All-State recognition.

Red Hot ‘18’
The annual Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce golf tournament, the Red Hot “18” will be held Monday, July 25, at Kings Creek Golf Club, with a 7:45 a.m. check in and an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Entry for the tournament is $60 per player in advance, $65 the day of the tournament, which includes a light breakfast, golf, cart and lunch.
Tri-County Ford will sponsor a hole-in-one contest. Mulligans and buy-a-spot/buy-a-drive will be available.
Sponsorships are sought for holes, beverage cart (3 available), practice green, driving range, Champions (2 available) and Masters (1 only).

KASA sign-ups
KASA football and cheer/drill sign-ups will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays at the Kemp Dairy Queen.
Cheer/drill fee is $325/child, and a $50 non-refundable deposit is required at registration. Balances must be paid in full before uniform fittings June 18.
Football fee is $175/child, with $50 non-refundable deposit at registration, along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate (not the original). Last day to register is June 18. No late sign-ups.

CCVF Golf Classic set June 20
Event to benefit 3 military service charities

PINNACLE CLUB–The Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation will hold its second annual Golf Classic Monday, June 20, at the Pinnacle Golf Club, north of Malakoff.
Funds raised will benefit three nonprofit organizations – Hope For The Warriors®, the Fisher House of Dallas and the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. followed by a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee for a team of four is $240 (single player is $60) and includes golf, green fees, golf cart and lunch.
