Donald Wallace
Services for Donald Wayne Wallace, 72, of Payne Springs, were held June 18, 2011, at Denton-Woods Funeral Home in Carlsbad, N.M. Interment followed at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
He was born June 19, 1938, in Portales, N.M., to Mable Mahaffey and William Wallace and died June 13, 2011, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Wallace was a former resident of Carlsbad, N.M., and owner of Wallace Plumbing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild; several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Wallace; children Sally Doyle, San Carlos, Calif.; Terrence Wallace, Tacoma, Wash.; Matthew Wallace and wife Christina, Las Cruces, N.M.; stepchildren Rebecca Fronk and husband Jerry, Bedford; Gary Fleener and wife Janet, Park, Kan.; sister Iva Lou Clark and husband Delbert, Santa Rosa, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; one niece; great nieces and nephews.
Although his family and friends greatly mourn his passing – they rejoice in the fact that he is in heaven and has no more pain or suffering.

Mark Elston
Services for Mark Ferrell Elston, 58, were held June 17, 2011, at Anderson-Clayton Chapel in Kemp. Interment followed at Kemp Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Elston was born Oct. 12, 1952, in Kaufman to Dorothy Helen Reese and Joe Ferrell Elston and died June 14, 2011, in Dallas.
He was a generous person and will be missed by his loved ones.
Survivors include his parents; his wife of 38 years, Judy; sister Alexis Montiel and husband Sergio; nephew Alex Montiel; aunt and uncle Helen and Charlie Doss; cousin Douglas Doss; other family members and friends.
