Services for Sally Elaine Gilmore, 43, were held June 12, 2007, in Central Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs with the Revs. Kenneth Rhodes and Don Tinsley officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Grove North in Hopkins County.
Gilmore was born Feb. 20, 1964, in Dallas to Geneva Janette Cox and Frank Turner Pope. She died June 9, 2007. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Turner Pope and father-in-law Loice Gilmore.
She began her banking career at Cedar Creek Bank 23 years ago. For more than 18 years, she worked for City National Bank, recently receiving a promotion into the loans department.
Nov. 1, 1986, she married David Gilmore in Gun Barrel City. She loved her family and they loved her.
Survivors include her husband David, daughter Regan Daylie Gilmore, son Jacob Turner Gilmore, mother and stepfather Geneva and Steve Ballard, sisters Renee Hyde and husband Tim, Lisa Davis and husband Charles, stepsisters and stepbrothers Cloe Ballard, Brandy Cathey and husband Larry, Josh Ballard, Marty Roberts, Lindy Roberts and wife Anna, Kelly Roberts and Lori Nell Roberts, mother-in-law Vivian Gilmore, brother-in-law Danny Gilmore and wife Julie, nieces and nephews Jason Hyde, Keri Dalme, Kim Wilson, Kaitlyn Grant, Knox Wilson, Brandi Davis, Charles D. Davis, Rachael Davis, Haley Davis, Nicholas Gilmore, Daniel Gilmore and Kelsey Gilmore.
Pallbearers were Jason Hyde, Glen Nicholson, Paul Brewer, Charles “Bubba” Davis, Donnie Roberts and Dondi Brewer.
Services for Sue (Everitt) Wright were held June 19, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Ferris with the Rev. Cathy L. Mordecai officiating under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
Wright was born June 7, 1929, in Eustace and died June 17, 2007, in Ferris. She was preceded in death by parents Ludie and Floyce Everitt, parents-in-law Johnnie and Johnnie H. Wright and brother Sam Everitt.
She graduated from Eustace High School and began working for Sears in Dallas where she was a dedicated employee for more than 40 years.
She was a faithful and loving wife and active member of the First United Methodist Church in Ferris for more than 50 years. Sue and Lynn Wright were married in October, 1957. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years Lynn Wright, Ferris; Sister Ann Stegall, Eustace; brother Norman Everitt, Eustace; and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers were Mike Bodine, Jeff Jordan, Gary Witherspoon, Charlie Joe James, Jimmy Toomey and Stanley Wright.
Honorary pallbearers were Tommy James and Don Peterson.
