Graveside services for Deryl D. Eves Sr., 76, were held June 27, 2010, at the Oaklawn
Cemetery in Mabank under the direction of Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco.
Eves was born April 8, 1934, in the Burnt Branch Community in Cross Plains and died June
25, 2010, at a local nursing facility.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hilda and Walter R. Eves, granddaughter Melinda
Adams, brother Walter Billy Eves and sisters Millie Baxley, Bonnie Foster and Betty
He was a loving father, grandfather and brother, who will be missed by all.
Survivors include daughters Michelle Hopper and husband Waylen, Waco; Dana Adams, Athens;
and Lacey Fulton and husband Victor, Athens; sons Eric Eves and wife Amy; Tyler; and Deryl
Eves Jr. and wife Beverly, Athens; grandchildren Brittani and Morgan Hopper, Jeffrey and
Jonathan Adams, Hayden Fulton, Ethan and Eason Eves and Justin Eves; and four
great-granddaughters; sisters Jackie Green, Arkadelphia, Ark.; Barbara Grandinetti,
Dallas; JoAnn Pelham, Garland; and Pansy Odom, Mabank.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Providence Hospice and nurse Kaye
Abbe for their wonderful care.
Memorial services for Jimmy Dave Green, 76, Malakoff, were held in the Eubank Cedar Creek
Funeral Home in Mabank. Interment was in the Cedar Creek Crematory in Mabank.
Green was born June 16, 1934, in Jayton and died June 22, 2010, in Malakoff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Era Oda Hamilton and Floyd Green.
He was an account executive in the food industry.
He was Baptist by faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Paulita Karr Green, Malakoff; daughters Judy Howard Stephen,
McKinney; and Amy Ann Green, Malakoff; grandson Austin Howard, McKinney; brother Dwain
Green, Spur; other family members and many friends.
Services for Tammy Jeane Henexson, 37, Kemp, were held June 30, 2010, at the Moorhead-Epps
Funeral Home Chapel in Gun Barrel City.
Henexson was born Dec. 15, 1972, in Fort Worth to Vickie White and Larry Henexson and died
June 25, 2010, in Kemp.
She leaves behind wonderful memories that can never be erased, not even with time.
Survivors include her son, Cain Hill; daughter Sariah Hill; parents; sister Pam Humphries
and husband Richard; brother Chris Henexson; nieces Heather Humphries and Tristen
Henexson; nephew Trevor Humphries; grandmother Doris Henexson; several aunts, uncles and
other loving family members and friends.

Graveside services for Odis O.D. Owens Jr., 82, were held July 1, 2010, at the
Wilsons Chapel Cemetery in Kaufman under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros.
Funeral Home in Kemp.
Owens was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Hubbard to Mabel Onstott and Odis Owens Sr. and died
June 27, 2010, in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Owens was gentle, unpretentious and possessed a spirit which drew people to him.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Owens, Kemp; daughters Karon Lewis and husband David,
Eldorado, Ark.; Kathryn Jones and husband Daniel, Ben Wheeler; Cindy Schiller and husband
Sam, Kaufman; Fran Fritz and husband Bob, Decatur; and Johnnie Neely and husband Tom,
Stephensville; son Joe Powell and wife Angie, Denton; sisters Glenda Chapman; and Joyce
Williams and husband James; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services for Mae Humphus Keenum, 95, Kemp, were held June 30, 2010, at the Anderson
Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp. Burial was at the Powers Chapel Cemetery in Rose Bud.
Keenum was born May 1, 1915, in Durango to Jennie Jackson and Wylie Jenkins and died June
26, 2010, in Kemp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband C.L. Humphus, daughters Louise Swindle
and Dorothy Coleman, sons Robert and Cecil Humphus, sisters Kate Purnell, Ethel Wooly and
Mary Lee Belsky, brothers Delbert and Paul T. Jenkins.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her daughter, Retha Trammel, and husband Charles Ray, Kemp; son L.C.
Humphus and wife Janette, Kemp; brothers Falcom Jenkins, McGregor; and Charles Jenkins,

Services for Dwayne Gilbreath, 72, Payne Springs, were held June 27, 2010, at the Eubank

Gilbreath was born Aug. 27, 1937, in Quitman and died June 25, 2010, in Dallas.
