Services for Keith Hollowell, 49, Mabank, were held July 1, 2008, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with Leonard Eason officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Hollowell was born Nov. 25, 1958, in Dallas and died June 27, 2008, in Grapevine.
He had resided in Mabank for the past 30 years and was a member of the Styx Baptist Church. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his mother Patsy Umfleet, Mabank; daughter Jillian Hollowell Windham, Florida; brothers Brad Hollowell, Grapevine; and Michael Umfleet, Carrollton; sisters Rhonda Hollowell Eicher, Rockwall; and Sandy Kerns, Blooming Grove; aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Steve Byrd, 52, Mabank, were held July 5, 2008, in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Mo., under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Byrd was born May 14, 1956, in Marshfield, Mo., and died June 30, 2008, in Mabank.
Previously of Dallas, he had resided in Mabank for the past three months. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Garland. He was an air conditioning service manager.
Survivors include his mother Darlene Compton Meeks and husband Bob, Arlington; daughters Marissa Dawn Byrd, Dallas; and Jaci Baxley and husband Steven, Dallas; granddaughter Jenna Breanne Baxley, Dallas; sisters Diana Jarrat and husband John, California; Terri Byrd, Mabank; Linda Beck and husband Chris, Arlington; and Patricia Shoecraft and husband Chuck, Jacksonville, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Services for George Edwin Riley, 59, Malakoff, were held June 28, 2008, at the Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Wilson officiating.
Riley was born July 29, 1948, in Malakoff to Dorothy LeRay Pledger and Gaston E. Riley and died June 25, 2008, at his residence.
Riley resided in Dallas for many years and was a resident of Malakoff for the past 12 years.
He attended Henderson County Junior College now known as Trinity Valley Community College in Athens.
He was a supervisory certified welder and was employed at Mudd Technology and Basic Storage.
Survivors include his wife Linda Riley; sons Gregory E. Riley, San Francisco, Calif.; Michael E. Riley, Midlothian; James Corday Riley II, Midlothian; daughters Julia Christine Beck, Pennville, Ind.; Megan Leah Riley, Midlothian; grandchildren Zoe Kawaheokalani Rosa-Riley, Ikaika Joseph Rosa-Riley, both of Sacramento, Calif.; James Corday Riley III, Midlothian; Taylor Anthony Beck, Maranda Alyssandra Beck, Jaedyn Christine Beck, all of Van Buren, Ind.; Trevor Allan New, Zoe Alexandria Reay, both of Midlothian; mother Dorothy Riley, Malakoff; uncle Derald Wayne-Pledger, Malakoff.
Pallbearers were Michael Reay, Gregory Riley, Corey Riley, Michael Riley, Chris Ozuna and Derald Wayne Pledger.
