SEVEN POINTS–There are going to be wild times at The Library at Cedar Creek Lake with visits by exotic animals and toys that come to life.
First, a visit by live exotic animals will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12. Please join us for Zooniversity – the Teaching Zoo that comes to you.
Zooniversity is a wildlife education company that introduces young and old alike to the fascinating world of exotic animals.
Showcasing “animals that dig,” each of the animal ambassadors is a “rescue” that has found a permanent home with them.
With so many animals to enjoy and learn about, you are sure to have more than one favorite!
Toy Story 3 is presented during “Movie Time for kids” starting at 10 a.m. Friday, July 15.
Watch the wild antics of toys, Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear, as they plan their great escape in our feature film.
And don’t forget about the exclusive “Teen Room.” Teens can enjoy their “Teen Room” from noon to 5 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for plenty of games and action.

Foreign exchange students looking for host families
Special to The Monitor
ASSE International Student Exchange Programs is seeking local families to host boys and girls between the ages of 15 to 18 from a variety of countries around the world.
Students come with an enthusiasm to practice their English and experience American culture – food, sports, shopping and more.
They will also share their own culture with host families. Host families welcome these students into their family, not as a guest, but as a family member, giving both the students and families a rich cultural experience.
In addition, students have pocket money for personal expenses; and full health, accident and liability insurance.
Students are academically selected into the program, and host families can choose their students from a wide variety of backgrounds, countries and personal interests.
To become a host family or to find out how to become involved with ASSE in your community, please call Lisa Ries at 1-800-473-0696 at the ASSE Southern Regional Office.
There are many students to choose from, so call – and begin the process of welcoming your new son or daughter into your family today!
Visit our website for more information at www.asse.com.
