Ilse Luise Lambert
Memorial services for Ilse Luise Lambert, 85, Malakoff, will be held at
10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home in
Malakoff with the Rev. Charles Rogers officiating. Interment will be in
Prairie Point Cemetery in Kerens.
Lambert was born in Nuremburg, Germany in 1924 and died July 15, 2009,
in Malakoff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Clifton Crocker in 1979
and her second husband Joe Baily Lambert in 1996.
Survivors include her daughter Linda and husband James Fryer, Palmer.
Gary L. Abadie
A memorial service for Gary L. Abadie, 64, Payne Springs, will be held
at a later date under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home
in Mabank.
Abadie was born Oct. 27, 1944, in Corsicana and died July 19, 2009, in
Gun Barrel City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Previously of Weatherford, he had resided in Payne Springs for the past
two weeks. He was a pipeline engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He
was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his sons Bobby Barnholt and wife Angela, Houston; and
Clay Abadie and wife Tacy, Weatherford; daughters Kim Beebe and husband
Tommy, Mabank; and Melisa Collum and husband Tommy, Weatherford; 11
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other family and
friends.
Fairs Sorrells
Services for Fairs Franklin Sorrells, 73, were held July 21, 2009, in
the Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel in Kemp with the Rev. Terrell Scott
officiating. Interment followed in the Baker Cemetery in Tolosa under
the direction of Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Sorrells was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Kaufman County to the late Sadie Lee
Raymond and James Henry Sorrels and died July 18, 2009, in Kemp.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Frankum Sorrells Jan.
25, 2003, and his son Larry Don Sorrells Sept. 26, 2002.
Sorrells was a member of the Kemp Masonic Lodge No. 528 and the First
Baptist Church in Kemp. He married Barbara Ann Frankum April 1, 1954, in
Rockwall.
Survivors include his daughters Faris Ann Smith and husband Vic, Kemp;
and Vickie Johnston and husband Tommy, Stonewall, Okla.; grandchildren
Larry Watson, Christie Watson, Ferris Randall Watson, Justin Smith,
Brent Smith, Cody Sorrells and Cole Sorrells; great-grandchildren Sammy
Watson, Shaylee Watson, Louis Hernandez, Emma Watson, Whitney Sorrells
and two on the way; brother George Sorrells and wife Sue, Canton; sister
Madge Anders and husband Buddy, Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. |
