Skies stayed sunny throughout the day, unlike the previous tournament schedule July 14, which was disrupted by a lengthy downpour the previous evening.
Third place in the tournament went to the Mabank First Baptist Church Puddle Monkeys, who edged the Gun Barrel City First Baptist Church Halos 9-8 in a come-from-behind thriller.
The Puddle Monkeys posted the best regular-season record, although no team managed to play more than 12 games, due to numerous Saturdays wiped out by rain.
The Cedar Creek Church of God Warriors for Jesus were the overwhelming winner of the Fellowship Award, voted on by all players.
