Monitor Staff Reports

Monday.
The team of Fred Kurlander, Ty Walter, Boyse Wood and Mike McCord took
first place gross, while the Eustace team of Gary Walsh, Chris Powers,
Mac McKinney and Ray Armstrong secured the first place net trophy.
“It was a really good tournament and a really good day,” chamber
president JoAnn Hanstrom remarked. Hanstrom is researching to see if
this year’s turnout represents the largest number of teams to play in
the four-man scramble event.
Hanstrom added the chamber golf committee appreciates everyone who
supported and played in the tournament, helping make it a success.
Chairs for the tournament were Rick Brown, Judy Pierce, Tim Lilly and
Robbye Grissom.
