Richard Alphin
Services for Richard Irvin Alphin, 63, Longview, were held Aug. 14, 2009, in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home in Longview with Dr. Charles Barham officiating. Interment followed at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Alphin was born Aug. 1, 1946, in Dallas to Bonnie Mae Pelham and Irvin Alphin and died Aug. 10, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Ivin Alphin.
He was a member of the Forest Hills Baptist Church and retired from the Longview Fire Department in 2003.
He enjoyed cattle ranching and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Mary Alphin, Longview; son Michael Wayne Alphin, Longview; sisters Linda Alphin Fletcher, Longview; and Sharon Alphin, Mabank; niece Bonnie Little and husband Karl; great-nephew Matthew Little; uncle and aunts, Dee Pelham, Mildred Killian, Evelyn Pendley and Ruth Bryan; and numerous cousins.

T.B. Mills
Graveside services for T.B. Mills, 88, Dallas, were held Aug. 13, 2009, at the Shiloh Cemetery in Kaufman County with Kyle Bolton and Clifton Smith officiating under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home of Kemp.
Mills was born June 10, 1921, to Beulah Ann Henson and Dee Thearan Mills and died Aug. 10, 2009, in Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Elizabeth Mills Rich, granddaughter Angela Michelle Rich, three brothers and five sisters.
He was a deacon of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ, but spending most weekends on his farm in Edgewood, he was a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a Sergeant during World War II.
Survivors include his wife Lela Mae Mills, Dallas; daughters Charlotte Holland and husband Jimmy, Edgewood; and Mary Gaugler and husband Wayne, Bedford; grandchildren Phillip Rich, Robin Schaufel, Jennifer Martinez and Nicholas Gaugler; great-grandchildren Taylor Rich, Elizabeth Martinez and Sean Martinez; sisters Eva Harris and husband Jesse, Terrell; Anna Bolton and husband Roy, Pecan Gap; Velma McDougald and husband Eugene, Corsicana; and Carolyn Bynum, Pittsburg; brother Clifton Smith Jr. and wife Jimmie Lou, Kemp; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bradley Cobb
Services for Bradley Wayne Cobb, 44, were held Aug. 15, 2009, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Cobb was born Aug. 11, 1964, in Dallas to Brenda Lou Massey and Darrell Lee Cobb, and died Aug. 10, 2009, in Kaufman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, sister Charlotte Rene Cobb Taylor, and stepsister Robin Junell.
Survivors include his children Cory Wayne Sarkisian and Lacy Diane Sarkisian, both of Kemp; father Skip Cobb and wife Jeraldine, Kemp; brothers Darrell Leroy “Rusty” Cobb and Timothy Dewayne Cobb, both of Kemp; stepbrothers Jimmy Deborde, Murchison; and Joel Cohn, Seven Points; stepsister Cathy Anderson, Kemp; numerous family members and friends.

Connie McClure
Services for Connie Ray McClure, 56, Malakoff, were held June 27, 2009, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Hobgood officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
McClure was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Houston and died June 25, 2009, in Tyler.
He had lived in Malakoff most of his life and was Baptist by faith. He was a plumber.
Survivors include his son Aaron McClure and wife Holly, Malakoff; daughter Jessica Arthur and husband Mark, Marshfield, Mo.; brothers Tommy Randall McClure, Seagoville; and Joeseph McClure, Seagoville; sister Ruby J. Duran, Dallas; and grandchildren Jordan, Abbey and Easton.
