Services for Helen E. Williams Bolton, 78, Kemp, were held Sept. 5,
2009, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel under the direction of Eubank Cedar
Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Bolton was born Aug. 2, 1931, in Jones County, N.C., and died Aug. 29,
2009, in Mabank.
She was preceded in death by her husband Red Williams, husband W.C.
Bolton and grandson Randy Tillery, Jr.
She had resided in Kemp for 38 years and was a member of the First
United Presbyterian Church of Mabank. She was employed in sales.
Survivors include her sons Dan Williams and wife Kathy, Shady Shores,
Deryl Williams and wife Debbie, Dallas, and Larry Williams and wife
Rhonda, Gun Barrel City; daughters Marian Tillery and husband Randy, Gun
Barrel City, and Cheryl Evans and husband Larry, Burnet; brothers Robert
L. Ewell, Virginia, and Alton Ewell, North Carolina; nine grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.
Services for Robert Clyde “RC” Hammonds Sr., 75, Kemp, were held Sept.
4, 2009, at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel in Kemp with interment
following at King Cemetery.
Hammonds was born June 14, 1934, in Kaufman County to Lucille Tatom and
Clayton E. Hammonds and died Sept. 1, 2009, in Dallas.
He worked for Associated Spring Company for more than 39 years as a
machinist and factory manager. He loved to fish and after retirement he
loved to sit on his front porch.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Shelba Andis Hammonds; son Robert
Hammonds and Flora Sanders, Arlington; daughters Judy Cates and husband
David, Mabank; Tina Story and husband Billy, Red Oak; Risa Cates and
husband Larry, Mansfield. He was a loving PaPa to 13 surviving
grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; plus numerous nieces and

Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank
Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
England was born Jan. 6, 1966, in Fort Worth and died Aug. 30, 2009, in

was Baptist by faith. He was a bartender and had a great love for family
and music. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his mother Mary Marlow, Enchanted Oaks; sister Cherrie
Foster, Mabank; niece Mandy; nephews Mark and Matthew; aunts Pam Walter
and Richard Holloway, Martha Bowden and Kenny, Sammie Herman and Charlie
and Debbie Brand and Herb; grandfather Sam McDonald, Fort Worth; and
fiancee Faith and her children Gabriel and Elijah.
Services for Donald Gene Pittman, 53, Gun Barrel City, were held Sept.
2, 2009, at the Payne Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Dennie
officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in
Pittman was born Feb. 13, 1956, in Artesia, N.M. and died Aug. 29, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles “Cotton” Pittman.
Previously of New Mexico, he had resided in Gun Barrel City for 15
years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.
Survivors include his wife Debra Pittman, Gun Barrel City; son
Christopher Kyle Sena, Edgewood, N.M.; stepson Randy James Featherson;
stepdaughter Betty Aulene Featherson, Gun Barrel City; brother David G.
Pittman and wife Frances, Los Ojof, N.M.; two grandchildren; mother Faye
Varner and husband Bert, Artesia, N.M.
Services for Leonard Davis, 84, Garland, were held Sept. 3, 2009, at the
Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Wells officiating. Burial was
in McNight Cemetery in Cushing under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek
Funeral Home in Mabank.
Davis was born Dec. 18, 1924, in Henderson County and died Sept. 1,
2009, in Mabank.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Ida Ann Davis.
He worked on an assemblyline and retired from LTV. He was a veteran of
the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Reklaw and
an avid fiddler.
Survivors include his son David Davis, Garland; sister Wanda Davis
Perkins, Kaufman; and sister-in-law Maxine Davis, Mabank; nieces,
nephews, other family members and many friends.
Graveside services for Jack Lyons, 73, Garland, were held Sept. 3, 2009,
at the Oaklawn Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Gomillion officiating under
the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
He was a member of the Redeemer Bible Church and was an underwriter.
Survivors include his daughters Laura Lyons Munson and Mary Lyons,
Dallas; and uncle Bill Little, Dallas.
