Kenneth E. Patrick
Services for Kenneth E. Patrick, 72, Gun Barrel City, were held Sept. 7, 2009, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Andre Ward officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Butcher was born Mar. 18, 1937, and died Sept. 4, 2009, in Gun Barrel City.
He resided in Mabank for 12 years and was previously of Arlington.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Patrick, Mabank; sons Kirby Patrick and wife Tricia, Tennessee; Alan Patrick and wife Vermalyn, Arizona, daughters Lashell Webber and husband Eric, Oklahoma; Kendra Patrick, Ind.; brother Charles E. Patrick, Mabank; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eric Webber, Kirby Patrick, Alan Patrick, Kent Warrum, Billy Webber and John McClure.

Jerry O. Butcher
Services for Jerry O. Butcher, 69, Phalba, were held Sept. 8, 2009, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Barrett officiating. Burial was in Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Butcher was born Apr. 18, 1940, in Soper Bluff, Okla.. and died Sept. 5, 2009, in Mabank.
He resided in Phalba since 1979 and was previously of Prairieville.
Butcher was a corporal and a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the House of Grace Church in Edgewood.
He retired from AT&T after 31 years of service then became a truck driver.
Butcher was a Master Mason at Roddy Lodge #734, Mabank; and a member of the Order of Eastern Star chapter 821, Mabank.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marcia Howard in 2007 and a daughter Linda Flood.
Survivors include his wife Janie Butcher, Phalba; sons Dewayne Brown, Mabank; Ricky Hoops, Gun Barrel City; Jerry Kevin Butcher, Fla.; daughters Cathy Renae Butcher, Brownsville; Lakissa Peek, Phalba; sisters Bonnie Walker, Tyler; Wanda Thompson, Patsy Thrift; brother Buddy Butcher; 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Sean Bass, Dewayne Brown, Ricky Hoops, Roy Denbow, Dennis Bell and Steve Crocker.

Carolyn Myers
Services for Carolyn Ann Evans Myers, 68, Tool, were held Sept. 5, 2009, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel, Italy with Chaplain Terrance Johnson officiating. Interment followed at the Italy Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home, Waxahachie.
Myers was born Aug. 7, 1941, in Ennis to Lou Vernie and Hardin Caroll Davlin and and died Aug. 31, in Tool.
She attended Poly Technical High in Fort Worth.
Myers married Henry L. “Butterbean” Evans, who preceded her in death in 1991; and married Kenneth Myers in 1998.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Wayne Myers of Tool; daughters Debbie Lewis, Midlothian; Daffanie Lehmann, Tool; son Henry Evans II, Athens; grandchildren Tache’ Pepos, Michael McBroom, Taryn Nesmith, Randy J. McBroom, Jr., Brittany French, Henry Evans III, Jimmy French, III, Aaron Evans, Kenny Lewis, Tommy Lewis; great grandchildren Hannah Nesmith, Emily Nesmith, Harley Hatch, Evan Haisan, Madalynn McBroom, Kennith Lee Evans, Christian Pepos; brother Milton Clark Davlin; half-sisters Mary Black, Dorothy Pierce and Judy Davlin.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Myers, Michael McBroom, Randy McBroom, Jr., Brad Lewis, Jimmy J. French, Jr. and Melvin Lehmann.

Shirley Fischer
Services for Shirley Fischer, 70, Payne Springs, were held Sept. 5, 2009, in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Fischer was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Canton, Ohio and died Sept. 1, 2009, in Tyler.
She was a manager and had resided in Payne Springs for 21 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband Ray Fischer, Payne Springs; daughter Patricia Fischer Barnett, Payne Springs; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Frances Madding
Services for Frances Louise Madding, 83, Kemp, were held Sept. 6, 2009, with Pastor Leonard Eason officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Madding was born Oct. 31, 1925, in McKinney and died Aug. 31, 2009, in Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy R. Madding, great-granddaughter Dominique Thomasson, four sisters and one brother.
She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her children Judy Jones and husband Darrell, Cordova, Tenn.; Lea Wright, Denver, Colo.; Billy B. Madding and wife Cindy, Fairfield; Deborah Moore, Kemp; Opal Henson and husband Larry, Crowley; Mike Madding, Mabank; Terry Madding and wife Michelle, Mabank; sister Faye Nicholls, Plano; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Juanita Lindsey
Graveside services for Juanita Lindsey, 87, Greenville, were held Sept. 8, 2009, at the Tool Cemetery with Brother Ken Maddox officiating under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Homes in Seven Points.
Lindsey was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Kenova, W.V. and died Sept. 6, 2009, in Greenville.
She was preceded in death by parents Matilda Jane McCloud and Frank Steele and husband Lyman H. Lindsey.
She was a homemaker and was married March, 1962 in Dearborn, Mich.
Survivors include daughters Susan and husband John Lemmon, Kay and husband Robert Kosman; brother Bill Mabe, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

John D. Howard
Services for John D. Howard, 82, Mabank, were held Sept. 7, 2009, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Alan Hobgood officiating. Burial was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Howard was born Nov. 1, 1926, in Anadarko, Okla.. and died Sept. 3, 2009, in Mabank.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marcia Howard in 2007, and a daughter Linda Flood.
Survivors include his son Larry Howard and wife Denise, Cookson, Okla; daughters Sam Wilson and husband Butch, Wagoner, Okla., and Pam Hobgood and husband Allen, Malakoff; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Adrian Shaw, Jimmy Faircloth, Bud Moffatt, Guy Smedley, Dewayne Hobgood and Frank Donovan.

Hazel Faye Rogers
Services for Hazel Faye Rogers, 91, Malakoff, were held Sept. 9, 2009, at the Malakoff Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Homes in Malakoff.
Rogers died Sept. 3, 2009, in Malakoff. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by parents Hattie Medford and Lum Sims and husband Jack M. Rogers.
Survivors include her sister Laverne Steen, Forney; and many friends.

Eunice V. Dickey
Services for Eunice V. Dickey, 49, Payne Springs, were held Sept. 4, 2009, with the Rev. L.T. Sherman officiating. Burial was in Payne Springs Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Dickey was born May 22, 1960, in Baton Rouge, La., and died Sept. 1, 2009, in Athens.
She had resided in Payne Springs for 24 years and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her sons Joshua Golmon; Glenn J. Golmon and wife Tamara, Gun Barrel City; John R. Dickey and wife Kristi, Kemp; and Kevin D. Arbour, Payne Springs; daughter Elizabeth Hollars, Payne Springs; and four grandchildren.

Taylor Lawson and infant
Services for Taylor Aylana Lawson, 19, and infant were held Sept. 5, 2009, at the Shady Grove Church with Pastors Dave Green and Kaye Green officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
She was a student.
Survivors include her parents Tina and Shawn Lawson, Euless; sister Audrey Lawson; grandmother Peggy Hendricks, Mesquite; grandparents Wanda and Charles Lawson, DeSoto; great-grandparents Marie and Horace Lindley, DeSoto; great-grandmother Mable Maness; great-grandparents C.T. Lawson and family, Tom Ball; and boyfriend Shannon Graham, Yadee; other family members and a host of friends, aunts and uncles.
