Matthew Little Sr.
Family and friends of Matthew Dwayne Chewy Little Sr., 39, are invited to

Little was born May 1, 1971, in Akron, Ohio to Sharon and Richard Little and died Sept.
11, 2010, in Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Mae Little, and brothers Randy and Brian
Little.
He moved to Gun Barrel City 18 years ago, where he resided with his sons Matthew Jr.,
Anthony and Justin and their mother Melissa Roseling.
Survivors also include his father, Richard Little Sr., stepfather David Shaffer,
grandmother Rita Woodling, brothers Richard Little Jr. and wife Melissa, and Jason Little
and wife Brandy, nephews Allen, Nathan, Andrew, Nicholas, Jacob, Russell, Angel, Tony,
Chevy and Randy, aunts, uncles and cousins.Dollie Thompson
Graveside services for Dollie V. Jenkins Thompson, 87, Athens, were held Sept. 14, 2010 at
the Payne Springs Cemetery with Josh McDonald officiating under the direction of Tomlinson
Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Thompson was born Jan. 8, 1923, in Payne Springs to Sally and Allen Jenkins and died Sept.
12, 2010, in Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Samie W. Thompson, and grandson Trey
Allen Christopher.
She was a Baptist by faith and worked as a hairdresser in Malakoff. She was a member of
the Veteran of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 4376 in Seven Points.
Survivors include her son Ronny Rountree, Gun Barrel City; daughter Paulette Howard,
Athens; sister Mary Jo Lindamond, Malakoff; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren
and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Ray Lindamond, Kyle Gillispie, Ray Brown, Robert Rowan, Jason
Humphrey and Dylan Bobbitt.
Frances Grayson
A celebration of life for Frances Jo Wiggs Grayson, 83, was held Sept. 15, 2010, at the
First United Methodist Church in Trinidad. Brothers James Goodson, Jimmy Steele and Jared
Allen officiated. Interment was in Stewart Cemetery in Campbell with Brother Johnnie
Henderson Jr. officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home
in Malakoff.
Grayson was born Oct. 27, 1926, in Commerce to Stella Cowan and Charles Benjamin Wiggs and
died Sept. 10, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Woody Grayson, parents,
sisters Rhea Tydings, Ruth Henson, Virginia Murschel and brother, Auby L. Wiggs.
She married Woodrow Grayson Jan. 24, 1946, in Commerce. and moved to this area in 1954.
She taught at Trinity Valley Community College (then known as Henderson County Junior
College) for 41 years.
She loved the Cardinals and was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in
Trinidad.
She was on the Fire District Board, Chamber of Commerce and served as a city council
member.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Frances Cargill and husband Bobby W., Kilgore;
grandchildren Bobi Ann Cargill Allen and husband Jared M., Huntsville, Ala.; Holly Ann
Cargill and husband Marcus Waune, Bryan; great-grandchildren Kati Ann Allen and Kie
Matthew Allen, Huntsville, Ala.; and sister Nita W. Clark, Commerce.
Pallbearers were Roy Stanfield, Ray Stanfield, Ricky Stanfield, Roy Lee Arnold, Willie
Lundy and Mondo Renteria.
Honorary pallbearers were all members of the United Methodist Church of Trinidad.
Helen Wisdom
Services for Helen Wisdom, 88, Mabank, were held Sept. 15, 2010, at the Elm Grove Church
with the Rev. Jim Leach officiating. Interment was in Elm Grove Cemetery under the
direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Wisdom was born Dec. 1, 1921, in Mabank and died Sept. 11, 2010, in Terrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ola Pryor and Samuel Richman, brother Herbert
Richman and husband Brice Wisdom.
She was a lifetime resident of Mabank and was a member of the Elm Grove Church and the
Historical Society of Van Zandt County.
Survivors include her sons Mike Wisdom and wife Susan, Corsicana; Dan Wisdom and wife
Lera, Terrell; and Ed Wisdom and wife Cathy, Irving; grandchildren Christi Jones and
husband David, Matt Wisdom and wife Malinda, Stephen Wisdom, Carrie Buck and husband Ryan,
Brian Wisdom and Robert Wisdom; great-grandchildren Mackenzie Wisdom, Matthew Wisdom,
Rachel Jones and Leah Buck; and sister Louise Fairchild.
Pallbearers were Robert Wisdom, Matthew Wisdom, Stephen Wisdom, Brian Wisdom, Ryan Buck,
David Jones and David Wisdom.
Harold McMahon
Services for Harold Mac McMahon, 71, Eustace, were held Sept. 14, 2010, at the
First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City with the Rev. Byron Jones officiating. Interment
was in the New Hope Cemetery in Mexia, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral
Home in Mabank.
McMahon was born April 10, 1939, in Teague and died Sept. 9, 2010, in Athens.
Previously of DeSoto, he had resided in Eustace since 1985 and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife Iris McMahon, Eustace; daughters Angela Rose and husband Jimmy,
Eustace; and Kimberly Sanford and husband Pete, Ennis; sons Clayton Brown, Groesbeck; and
Randel Brown and wife Portia, Groesbeck; grandchildren Ricky, Christina, Misty, Brandon,
Whitney, Justin, Brandy, Chelsea and Elizabeth, and numerous great-grandchildren; brother
Carroll McMahon, Mexia; other family members and a host of friends; and his beloved puppy
Lady.
Lois James
Arrangements for a memorial service for Lois James, 94, will be made at a later date under
the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
James was born June 16, 1916, in Nashville, Ark., the daughter of Dollie Payne and Elbert
Tarno and died Sept. 9, 2010, in Tool.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter James and son Bobby James,
daughter-in-law Codine James, sisters Edith Welch and Ruthell Hart, brothers Leon and Dale
Tarno.
She worked as a manicurist and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her grandson, Dale James, granddaughter Tina James, great-grandsons
Stephen James, Kevin Neal and Justin Neal, great-granddaughters Britany Brigham, Heather
Baker and husband Marshall, Rebecca Risler and husband Matt, and Distiny Lavery,
great-great-grandsons Benjamin Baker and Emery Risler.
M.C. Jackson
Services for M.C. Jack Jackson, 91, Mabank, were held Sept. 13, 2010, at the
Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Reneau officiating. Interment was in Elm Grove
Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Jackson was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Hamlin and died Sept. 10, 2010, in Mabank.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Jackson, mother Ida Lamb Jackson,
sons Jeffery Alan Jackson and Jonathan Scott Jackson, daughter Ruth Elizabeth Watkins,
wife Wilma Inez Jackson, eight sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his daughter Chloe Alexander, Kemp; sons Marcus Lee Jackson, Denton;
James Madison Jackson, and Stephen Chastain Jackson, Irving; daughter Lynda Sue Johnson,
Carrollton; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren;
other family members and many friends.
Pallbearers were Terry Harmon, Marcus Jackson, Stephen Jackson, David Oldam II, J.J.
Rutledge and Everett Matthews.
Judy Ostoja
A celebration of life will be held for Judy Ostoja, 62, of the Aley Community, at 2 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, in the Moorhead Epps Memorial Chapel in Gun Barrel City. Antonio
Gomez will be officiating.
Ostoja was born Nov. 24, 1947, in Dallas and died Sept. 7, 2010, at her home.
Survivors include her parents Mildred Jones and J.T. Greenhaw; her life companion, Antonio
Gomez; son Andrew Wilson and wife Cathy Kneedler; daughters Jade Ostoja Bosse and husband
Michael, Amber Ostoja Heckens and husband John; grandchildren Kaitlynn Wilson, Christopher
Potter, Keifer Holmes and Keanu Holmes; numerous other family members and many friends. |
