Dorothy Waller
Services for Dorothy Juanita Waller, 82, Kemp, were held Sept. 14, 2009,
at the Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp. Interment followed
in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana.
Waller was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Trinidad to Bessie Bell Hellner and
Henry Leamon Spicer and died Sept. 10, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and grandsons Kevin
Dale Waller and Robert Wesley Avant.
Survivors include her husband of more than 63 years Alvin Franklin
Waller; sons Leslie David Avant and wife Patricia Ann, Talty; Larry
Eugene Waller and wife Alice Fay, Seagoville; daughter Alvita Jo Johnson
and husband William, Kemp; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandchild; brothers Vernon Leamon Spicer and Gene
Darrell Spicer and wife Jo Ann; numerous nieces, nephews, other family
members and a host of friends.
Mary Shultz
Services for Mary Marie Shultz, 66, Gun Barrel City, were held Sept. 17,
2009, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Teague
officiating. Interment was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the
direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Shultz was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Lineville, Ala., and died Sept. 15,
2009, in Gun Barrel City.
She was preceded in death by her brother Charles David Shultz, and
parents Lenora Halpin and Arvel Ingram Shultz.
Previously of Dallas, she had resided in Gun Barrel City for seven
years. and was a member of the East Dallas Congregational Methodist
Church. She was a fabricator for Texas Instruments and retired in 1992.
Survivors include her sisters Margie Shultz Forrester, Gun Barrel City;
Helen Shultz Porter, Mabank; and Pat Swindall Shultz, Gun Barrel City;
four nieces, nine great-nieces and nephews, and four great-great nieces
and nephews; many other family members and many friends.

Stephenson
Services for E.H. Stephenson, 82, were held Sept. 17, 2009, at Anderson
Clayton Bros. Funeral Home, Mesquite. Interment followed in Grove Hill
Memorial Park, Dallas.
Stephenson was born Aug. 7, 1927, and died Sept. 14, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Chester Stephenson and
son Herstel Lynn Stephenson.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Louise Stephenson; brothers
Weldon Stephenson and wife Marie; and Joe Stephenson and wife Loretta;
numerous nieces and nephews.
