Kenneth Patrick
Services for Kenneth E. Patrick, 72, Gun Barrel City, were held Sept. 8,
2009, in the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Andre Ward
officiating. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of
Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Patrick was born March 18, 1937, in Boonville, Ind. and died Sept. 4,
2009, in Gun Barrel City.
Previously of Arlington, he had resided in Mabank for the past 12 years.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Patrick, Mabank; sons Kirby Patrick
and wife Tricia, Tennessee; and Alan Patrick and wife Vermalyn, Arizona;
daughters Lashell Webber and husband Eric, Oklahoma; and Kendra Patrick,
Indiana; brother Charles E. Patrick, Mabank; 10 grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eric Webber, Kirby Patrick, Alan Patrick, Kent Warrum,
Billy Webber and John McClure.
John Sutton
Services for John Edward Sutton, 84, Seven Points, were held Sept. 12,
2009, at the First Presbyterian Church of Mabank with Drs. Ron Holloman
and William McNatt officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek
Funeral Home in Mabank. Interment at the Dallas/Fort Worth National
Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Sutton was born April 21, 1925, in Brown Branch, Mo., and died Sept. 1,
2009, in Athens.
Previously of Dallas, he had resided in Seven Points since 1977 and was
a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II.
After 22 years of service at the Federal Correctional Institution in
Seagoville, he retired in 1981.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mabank and the
Masonic Lodge No. 654 in Seagoville.
Survivors include his wife of 57½ Mary Todd Sutton, Seven Points;
sister-in-law Irma Todd; nieces Lisa Todd Uhlich and husband Dave; Diane
Todd and fiance Neal Hallmark; Barbara Ruff; Marlene McPherson; Christy
Sutton; and Joan Alford; nephew Roy Wade; numerous great-great-nieces
and nephews, many wonderful friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church,
P.O. Box 1977, Mabank, TX 75147.
Jackie
Harris
Graveside service for Jackie Lee Harris, 68, Waxahachie, were held Sept.
25, 2009, at the Oak Branch Cemetery in Maypearl under the direction of
Waxahachie Funeral Home.
Harris was born Sept. 17, 1941 in Italy to Altha and Monroe Harris and
died Sept. 22, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters.
He loved life, nature, fishing, hunting, people and having a good time.
He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include daughter Lisa Cobb and son Earnest Harris; brother Roy
Harris and wife Joyce, Maypearl; grandchildren; many nieces and nephews;
and countless friends.
