  Jack Smith
Services for Jack Marion Smith, 82, Morrilton, Ark., were held Oct. 22, 2008, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Alan Austin officiating. Burial was in Cana Cemetery in Van Zandt County under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Smith was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Liberty Hill and died Oct. 16, 2008, in Morrilton, Ark.
Previously of the Cedar Creek Lake area, he had resided in Arkansas for the past two years and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Exxon in 1966, after 39 years service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Swindle Smith, Morrilton, Ark.; daughters April Ann Jones, Liberty Hill; and Jayne Mareah Condley, Hector, Ark.; grandchildren Christopher M. Jones, Dawn Elizabeth Garcia, Dustin Goodwyn and Myles Douglas Goodwyn; sons-in-law Richard Jones and Tim Condley; grandson-in-law Noel Garcia; four stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-grandson.
Pallbearers were Tim Condley, Jayne Condley, Chris Jones, Noel Garcia, Dustin Goodwyn, Myles Goodwyn, Steve Swindle and Gary Swindle.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Clifford Malone
Services for Clifford Erik Malone, 39, Lewisville, were held Oct. 25, 2008, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with Elder Don Manning officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Interment followed at Mesquite City Cemetery.
Malone was born July 14, 1969, in Dallas and died Oct. 18, 2008, in Lewisville.
Previously of Mabank, he had resided in Lewisville for the past four years and attended Mabank High School. He was a cable installer.
Survivors include his son Tristan Malone, Lewisville; father Leo Malone, Mabank; mother Gayland Beason, Rusk; brother Ronald Malone, Mabank; sister Tamara Malone, Rusk; nieces Angela Knowles, Rusk; Lucy Malone, Rusk; and Heather Malone, Terrell; and several nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.

Victor Swindle
Graveside services for Victor Eugene Swindle, 45, Wylie, were held Oct. 21, 2008, at the Morrow Chapel Cemetery in Ola under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman.
Swindle was born April, 12, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Linda Jones and Harry Swindle and died Oct. 17, 2008, at his home.
He was raised in Garland and attended Lakeview Centennial High School in Rowlett.
He worked for Rick’s Tree Trimming Service for 20 years.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather Linda and Ronald Jorgensen, Kaufman; father Harry Swindle, Guymon, Okla.; fiancé Staci Hickman, Wylie; sisters Kaye Martin, Seven Points; Karen Martin, Seven Points; and Rita Kelley, Austin; nieces Natalie, Racheal and Kara; nephews David, Shane, Nichlous and Jeremy; and many other relatives and friends.

Jerry Whetzel
Services for Jerry Lee Whetzel, 54, Eustace, were held Oct. 20, 2008, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Jacobs officiating. Internment was in Goshen Cemetery in Eustace under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Whetzel was born July 31, 1954, in Harrisonburg, Va., and died Oct. 16, 2008, in Eustace.
Previously of Richardson, he had resided in Eustace for the past six months.
He had been married for 21 years and always tried to make people laugh. He was a sign maker.
Survivors include his wife Kim Whetzel, Eustace; daughter Summer Whetzel, Arlington; son Jeremy Whetzel, Fort Worth; father Lester Whetzel, Weyer’s Cave, Va.; brothers Jimmy, Johnny and Norman Whetzel; sister Norma Luckago; other family members and many friends.

Richard McNamee
Graveside services for Richard Charles McNamee, 68, Malakoff, were held Oct. 22, 2008, at the Malakoff Cemetery with O.E. Davis officiating under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff.
McNamee was born Sept. 20, 1940, in Ware, Mass., to the late Lenora Malater and George McNamee and died Oct. 19, 2008.
He was in computer repair service.
Survivors include his wife Mary McNamee, sons Mark, Nathan and Brandon; daughters Desiree, Zabrina, Wendy, Bonita and Carmen; and 13 grandchildren.
