Services for Dorothea Puckett, 84, were held Nov. 2, 2010, at the Main Street Pentecostal
Church in Gun Barrel City with the Rev. Tim Weatheread officiating. Burial was in
Sparkman-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral
Home in Gun Barrel City.
Puckett was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Biardstown to the home of Mattie Bailey and A.G. Terry
and died Oct. 30, 2010, in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Alma, Becky, A.G., Joe Ben and

Services for Jack Lee Craft, 52, were held Nov. 1, 2010, in the Moorhead Epps Memorial
Chapel with the Rev. Charles Wilson officiating.
Burial was in the Payne Springs Cemetery under the direction of Moorhead Epps Funeral Home
of Gun Barrel City.
Craft was born April 27, 1958, in Athens to the home of Fariel Lee Clark and Jack Beel
Craft and died Oct. 29, 2010, in Athens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gary Croft.
Survivors include his wife Jean Diede; daughters Pamela Cooper and Paula Dosser-Kenneth;
son, J.B. Craft; grandchildren, Justin, Ethan, Bryan, Caleb, Travis, Sarah Beth and Kayle.
Services for Louise Ann Weeze Wise, 48, Gun Barrel City, were held Oct. 30,
2010, at the Moorhead Epps Memorial Chapel in Gun Barrel City.
Wise was born Feb. 7, 1962, in Monterey Park, Calif., and died Oct. 26, 2010, in Gun

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Wise; sons, Christopher Wayne Johnson and Steven

Services for Charles Charlie Kaser, 68, Oakwood, were held Oct. 30, 2010, in
the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Hensley officiating.
Burial was in Baird Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in
Kaser was born May 6, 1942, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and died Oct. 27, 2010, in Oakwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Lawrence Kaser and daughters, Jewelle
Ann Bolin and Teresa Sue Vandiver.
Previously of Ohio, he had resided in Oakwood for the past 25 years. He retired in 2008
from Tri-South Contractors and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ann Kaser, Oakwood; sons, Wesley Scott and Jeffery Todd
Kaser, both of Oakwood; brother, David Kaser, Marion, Ohio; sister, Sabra Halford,
Oakwood; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other family and many loving friends.
Pallbearers were Robert Vandiver, Jeremy Kaser, Jearmy Jobe, Bobby Bolin II, Wesley Kaser,
Jeff Kaser and Bobby Bolin.
A memorial service for Howard Earnest Hull, 65, will be held at a later date at the
Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City.
Hull was born Dec. 18, 1944, in Lyman, Wyo., and died Oct. 26, 2010, in Athens.
Survivors include his wife Sophia; daughters, Amanda Hill and husband Andy, Camille
Cabrera, Roberta Coleman and husband Dwight; sister, Dorothy Smith; grandchildren, Shane,

Memorial services for Rachel M. Weldon, 64, Malakoff, were held Nov. 6, 2010, at the Cedar
Lake Nursing Home in Malakoff with Brother Floyd Loven officiating. Graveside services
followed at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home
Weldon was born Feb. 24, 1946, in Fort Worth and died Oct. 30, 2010, in Malakoff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Viola Pair and James Hart.
Her occupation was Minister.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Weldon; sons Michael Ortiz and wife Heidi; Scott
Mendes and wife Angel; grandchildren Michael, Megan and Brittany Ortiz, Austin Schaffer,
Kaden, Jorden and Kolten Mendes; sister Eileen Juhl and husband Bob.
