Services for Raymond Loyd Hammonds, 82, Dallas, were held Nov. 19, 2007, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Chapel with the Rev. Jim Renfro officiating. Interment followed at King Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
Hammonds was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Hope, Ark,. to the late Verdie Morehead and Will Hammonds and died Nov. 14, 2007, in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Ann Denby.
Survivors include his wife Winnifred Hammonds, Dallas; children Will Hammonds, Danny Hammonds, Betty Sutton, Sharon Henderson, Shirley Hardesty and Tammie Reneau; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service for Robert W. Teague, 71, Eustace, will be held at a later date under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Teague was born Feb. 18, 1936, in El Centro, Calif., and died Nov. 17, 2007, in Kaufman.
Previously of Dallas, he had resided in Eustace for the past 20 years and was of the Protestant faith. He was a retired truck driver and wood worker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea.
Survivors include his brother Charles Teague and wife Melba, Dallas; sisters Patsy Aguilera, Mesquite; and Halene Pollard, Dallas.
Services for Ollivia Brunt Cooke, 78, Tool, were held Nov. 18, 2007, at Tomlinson Funeral Chapel in Seven Points with Don Bentley officiating. Interment was in Tool Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Cooke was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Lawton, Okla., and died Nov. 13, 2007, in Malakoff. She was preceded in death by her parents Era Ollivia and Jesse Brunt and brother Bruce Brunt.
She was a devoted wife and mother who loved God, people, children and animals. She loved visiting friends and relatives and was a member of Seven Points Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Eugene Cooke; daughter Virginia and husband Clyde Bowery; son Charles and wife Janet Earle; sisters Bessie Marie and husband Hank Brown; and Mary Reno Minot; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Services for Maudie Jordan, 75, Athens, were held Nov. 18, 2007, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Trinidad City Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Jordan was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Henderson County and died Nov. 15, 2007, in Tyler.
She lived in Henderson County most of her life and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She owned her own business.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra Trammell and husband Steve, Athens; stepsons Doug Jordan and wife Nancy, Arlington; and Scott Jordan and wife Mary, Arlington; stepdaughter Elaine Jordan, Arlington; sister Lucille Hollifield and husband James, Tyler; brother James Chitty, Athens; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dusty Trammell, Jared Trammell and Chad McDonald.
Services for Alvin Wallace Emsoff, 72, Crescent Heights, were held Nov. 20, 2007, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff with Carey Ponder officiating. Burial was in Malakoff Cemetery under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Emsoff was born March 17, 1935, in Camden and died Nov. 17, 2007, in Crescent Heights.
He was an electrician and affiliated with Crescent Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Lawana Emsoff; sons Richard Emsoff, Crescent Heights; Nicky Emsoff, Abernathy; and Clinton Emsoff, Forney; sister Foy Buller, Livingston; grandsons Josh, Chad, Justin and Jordan Emsoff.
Pallbearers were David Buller, Josh Emsoff, Justin Emsoff, Jordan Emsoff, Lee Evans and James Mosely.
Honorary pallbearer was James Morris.
Graveside services for Robbie L. Perkins, 81, Houston, were held Nov. 17, 2007, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank with Father O’Dowd officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Perkins was born Jan. 21, 1926, in Calico Rock, Ark., to Mary Josephine Clark and Robert Thomas Pearson, and died Nov. 14, 2007, in Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard K. Perkins in 2000.
She had lived a good life filled with family, love, adventure and golf.
Survivors include her sons Richard K. Perkins Jr. and wife Frieda, Oklahoma; R. Edward Perkins and wife Heidi, Houston; daughter Deborah Shearer and husband Brian, Houston; grandchildren Jennifer and husband Huw, Kimberly, Joel and Tommy; great-grandchildren Emma, Madison, Grace and Ian.

Corn was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Indianapolis, Ind. and died Nov. 18, 2007, in Trinidad.
He was an engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He had resided in Trinidad for the past nine years.
