Colin Dale Reeder, 19, having resided in Austin since August 2006 coming from Coppell, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006.
He was born March 2, 1987 to Rhonda Tay (Goff) and David Wayne Reeder in Dallas.
He was a 2005 graduate of Coppell High School and loved music, guitar, and was a phenomenal artist.
He was a student of Austin Community College and was presently serving in the U.S. Army Reserves at the time of his death.
Survivors include his parents David and Tay Reeder of Horseshoe Bay; brothers Jordan and Jared Reeder of Horseshoe Bay; maternal grandparents Roy and LaVerne Goff of Llano; and Mary and Gary Curry of Bertram; maternal great grandmother Nora Oehler of Fredericksburg; paternal grandparents John and Joni Reeder of Mabank; Donna Benedict of Farmers Branch; paternal great-grandfather, Bill Benedict of Farmers Branch; paternal great grandmother Vesta Collins of Dallas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held Nov. 22, 2006, at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel in Llano with the Rev. Charles Eckert officiating. Interment followed in Llano City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice.
Arrangements were under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Homes, Inc. in Llano.
Services for Joyce Young, 75, Gun Barrel City, will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Young was born Dec. 28, 1930, in Louisiana and died Nov. 19, 2006, in Athens.
She was a police officer. Previously of Oil City, La., she had lived in Gun Barrel City for the past 15 years and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter Maurine Yvonne Young, Gun Barrel City; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
