Leon Miller
Services for Leon Miller, 91, Murchison, were held Dec. 3, 2011 at Eubank
Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Bragdon officiating. Interment
followed at Moorehead Melton Cemetery.
Miller attended Leagueville Missionary Baptist Church and was in the Air
Force during World War II and the Korean War where he served as a flight
engineer. He enjoyed music and sang with the Deaconaires at various
churches. He built birdhouses as a hobby in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maude Ann (Blasingame) and Herschel
Christopher Miller, his brother and sister, first wife Christine Miller,
second wife Nelda Miller and grandson Justin.
He is survived by daughter Cindy Braun, Bedford; son Kenneth Miller,
Evansville, Ind.; fiancée Wanda Dingler, Brownsboro; sister Hazel, Oklahoma;
two grandchildren, three great-grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many loving friends.

Lisa Yates
Services for Lisa Michelle Yates, 49, Mabank, were held Dec. 3, 2011, at the
First Baptist Church of Mabank with Rev. Brent Tucker officiating. Interment
followed in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Parker-Ashworth
Funeral Home of Kaufman.
Yates was born Sept. 18, 1962, in McKinney, to Mae Bow and Richard Busby and
died at her home Nov. 30, 2011.
She was reared in McKinney and DeSoto and graduated from DeSoto High School.
She moved to Mabank in 1982, where she was a bookkeeper for Bow Enterprises.
She and her mother owned and operated Country Scents and More in Mabank.
Yates was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mabank.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph, “Bubba” of Mabank; daughter Nikki
Yates of Mabank; her mother; sister Kim Temple of Eustace and many other
friends and relatives.
Donald Borah
Services for Donald Raymond Borah, 75, Tool, were held Dec. 6, 2011, at
Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool.
Borah was born Aug. 20, 1936, in Dallas, to Lillie Ellen Hannon and John
Robert Borah and died Dec. 3, 2011, in Tool.
He served in the United States Air Force from April 6, 1959, to April 5,
1965.
Borah is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by son Robert C. and wife Kelly Borah, Tyler; daughter
Barbara Hannan Borah, sisters Nina Omholt, Gayle Knowles and Lonna Atkins,
all of Dallas; grandchildren, Sterling, Spencer, Summer, Robert and John
Borah and Clay, Jacob and Logan Crouch.
Fred Cooper
Services for Fred E. Cooper, 77, Kemp, were held on Dec. 6, 2011, at
Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points. Burial followed in King Cemetery in
Seven Points.
Cooper was born Sept. 22, 1934, in Dallas, to Maggie Bird and France E.
Cooper and died Dec. 2, 2011, in Canton.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Shirley Ann Cooper.
He is survived by sons; Fred E. Cooper and wife Barbara, Canton; Clifford
Cooper and wife Brenda, Dallas; and Jason Cooper and wife Jamie, Canton;
nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and
sisters.
Thomas Daignault
Services for Thomas P. Daignault, 60, Tool, will be held at a later date.
Daignault was born in Syracuse, N.Y., Oct. 15, 1951, to Janette Holmes and
Victor Daignault and died in Athens, Dec. 3, 2011.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include daughter Janice Manska and her husband, Matt, of Flower
Mound; sons Chad and Todd Daignault; brothers Dave and Jim Daignault; and
granddaughter Veronica Manska.
