Sue Yakesch
Services for Sue Yakesch, 68, Kemp were held Dec. 8, 2010, at the Anderson Clayton
Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Kemp with the Revs. Robert Long and Dennis Kirkpatrick
officiating.
Interment followed in the Tool Cemetery.
Yakesch was born Aug. 13, 1942, in Union County, Ark. to Leola Bernice Snowden and Willard
Clayton Wood and died Dec. 6, 2010, in Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Allen Yakesch, sister Dorothy Nell
Wood, brother James Buddy Boy Nelson Wood and sister-in-law Judy K. Rowell.
She had lived most of her life in Kemp and was married to Fred Allen Yakesch Feb. 18,
1961, in Athens.
She touched many peoples lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Wilemon and husband Kevin, Kemp; son Freddy
Yakesch and wife Stacy, Kemp; grandchildren, Brooke Bolton, Calif.; Jayci Yakesch, Kemp;
Jalyn Yakesch, Kemp and Dustin Wilemon, Florida; sisters Jean Massingill and husband
Royce, Bracketville; and Patsy Spivey, Kemp; brother Willard Wood Jr. and wife Marie,
Round Rock; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Tripp Spivey, Rod Andrews, Bobby Day, Donnie Hodge, Dusty Bryant and
Rickey Smith. Cecelia McLaren
Services for Cecelia Ann McLaren, 64, Trinidad, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec.
14, 2010, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points with the Rev. Bernard Boteju
officiating.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at the Tomlinson Funeral
Home.
McLaren was born Aug. 8, 1946, in Dallas to Margaret Ann and Paschal Rush Hellinger and
died Dec. 8, 2010.
Survivors include her husband, Randy McLaren; son John McLaren and wife Lynn; sister Mary
Linda Marooni and husband Larry; brother Paschal Rush Jr.; grandchildren Bobbie Jean
Cummings and Kelsey McLaren; stepgrandchildren Amy and Brian; three great-grandchildren;
nieces and nephews.
Thomas Idom III
Services for Thomas Tom Grandberry Idom III, 62, were held Dec. 6, 2010, at
the First Baptist Church in Mabank.
Idom was born Dec. 14, 1947, in Longview to Jeneva Murphy and Thomas Idom and died Dec. 2,
2010, in Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; son James Idom, Dallas; daughter Toni Parks and husband
Michael, Gilmer; and sister Jane Par.
Stella Brackeen
Services were held for Stella Nora Brackeen, 86, Mabank, at 10 a.m. Saturday Dec.11, 2010,
at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with interment at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of
Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 10, 2010.
Brackeen was born March 31, 1924, in Mabank to Susie and C.C. Clark and died Dec. 8, 2010,
in Wills Point.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy, grandson, Christopher Norman and brother C.C.
Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Joe; daughters Darlene Pryor, Vickie Kuzel and Tammy
Yarbrough; stepsons Mark Blair and Billy Alumbaugh; brother Charlie Clark; many family
members and friends.
William Parker
Services for William Thomas Bill Parker, 56, were held Dec. 6, 2010, at the
Moorhead Epps Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Eston Williams officiating.
Parker was born Oct. 23, 1954, in Dallas to Doris Jean Smothermon and Franklin Louis
Parker and died Dec. 1, 2010.
He was affectionately called B by his grandchildren.
He was a carpenter and cabinet maker all his life. He was a union carpenter for several
years before he formed his own business trimming houses for many years.
He did all kinds of carpentry and built boat docks after he moved to the lake area. He was
the best at everything he did.
Survivors include his son, William Thomas Little Bill Parker, and wife Libby;
daughter, Jennifer Fritsch and husband Mark; parents Doris and Frank Parker; wife, Dianne
Parker, brother Gary Parker and wife Sandra; sister Robin Hoelting; grandchildren David
Austin and Peyton Parker, Alexia, Ryan and Mattie Beth Fritsch; other family members and
many friends. |
