  Evlyne Hyde
Services for Evlyne Phillips Hyde, 91, Mabank, were held Dec. 14, 2008, in the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Kenneth Hensley and Steve Glosup officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery in Van Zandt County under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Hyde was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Tioga and died Dec. 11, 2008, in Mabank.
She was preceded in death by her son Roy Hyde, five brothers, one sister, parents Pearl and Jordan Phillips and husband Roy Hyde Sr.
She was a homemaker and resided in Mabank most of her life. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Mabank. She graduated from Malakoff High School in 1936.
Survivors include her daughter Mary Vanderslice and husband Gary, Mabank; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason Hyde, Phillip Vanderslice, Josh Greer, T.J. Greer, John Walter Hyde, Mark Livingston and Rusty Hyde.

Willa Mae Moos
Memorial services for Willa Mae Moos, 81, Enchanted Oaks, were held Dec. 16, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City with the Rev. Byron Jones officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Moos was born Aug. 29, 1927, in Houston and died Dec. 14, 2008, in Mabank.
She was a teacher and had resided in Enchanted Oaks for the past six years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband Howard Moos, Enchanted Oaks; son William Howard Moos, Mabank; daughters Linda Ann Cox, Fort Worth; and Laura Lee Agold, Enchanted Oaks; brother Leon Lassiter Little Jr., Corpus Christi; sister Betty Ruth Bertko, Alpine; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Jax Baird
Memorial services for Jax Walter Reuben Baird, 69, Seagoville, were held Dec. 16, 2008, at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville with the Rev. James Pappas officiating. Scattering ceremonies followed under the direction of Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
Baird was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Dallas to the late Marjeta Norris and Ezekiel Cherry Baird and died Dec. 9, 2008, in Seagoville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Rhonda Mannette and Erena E. Baird and a son Jonathon L. Baird.
He married Betty Bergman Jan. 10, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nev. and they lived 12 years in the Cedar Creek Lake area before moving to Seagoville.
He was a member of the Cedar Creek Lake Masonic Lodge No. 1431 AF&AM.
Survivors include his wife Betty, Seagoville; sons Ronnie Baird and wife Sandra, Mesquite; Scott Cady, Seagoville; and Reggie Baird, Cedar Creek Lake; daughters Regina Baird, Cedar Creek Lake; and Karen McGee, Wills Point; and Leslie Jacob and husband Rod, Red Oak; brother Ezekiel Cherry Baird III and wife Sandra, Combine; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.

Margaret Rimmer
Memorial services for Margaret E. Rimmer, 72, Seven Points, are pending under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Rimmer was born March 14, 1936, in Sulphur Springs to the late Susie and Leo Porter and died Dec. 11, 2008, in Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Franklin Rimmer and son Buddy Michael Storman.
Survivors include her daughter Linda and husband Tommy Barnes; son Willis Rusty Storman; and one grandchild.

Snodie Perkins
Services for Snodie May Gayler Davis Perkins, 93, Mabank, were held Dec. 14, 2008, with the Rev. Brent Tucker officiating. Burial was in Moorehead-Melton Cemetery in Eustace under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Perkins was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Mountain View, Ark., the second daughter and fourth surviving child of Bertha May Pendergrass and Leonidas Morris “Lonnie” Gayler and died Dec. 11, 2008, at the Mabank Nursing Home.
The Gayler family moved to Eustace in the early 1950s. She married Clyde Lafelle Davis in 1936 and he died in 1976.
She married James Warren Perkins of Eustace in 1978 and he died in 1998.
She was a Christian whose gentle and compassionate nature revealed itself through acts of kindness throughout her life.
Her children noted friends and strangers commented on how much their mother was loved and appreciated.
Survivors include her sisters Odie Gayler Housewright, Fairfield; and Bonnie Rainbow Gayler Seabourne, Eustace; daughter and son-in-law Lois Raye Davis and James Erwin Adams, Kemp; son Larry Lafelle Davis, Costa Rica; stepchildren James Perkins, Garland; and Burl Perkins, Dallas; grandchildren Darlina Raye Anthony, James Lynn Adams, Daniel Clyde Adams and Judy Kay Adams Horn; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mike Pringle
Graveside services for Mike Pringle, 57, Tool, were held Thursday (today), Dec. 18, 2008, at the Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. B.F. Risinger Jr. officiating under the direction of Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana.
Pringle was born March 18, 1951, in Corsicana and died Dec. 14, 2008, in Tool.
He was preceded in death by his father James William Pringle, mother Betty Pringle, brother Lynn Pringle and an uncle N.D. Pringle.
Survivors include his daughters Melissa Barber and husband Roy, Quinlan; and Leslie Taylor and husband Travis May, Tool; sons James Pringle and wife Shelly, Kemp; and Jason Taylor, Kemp; grandchildren Alysha, Brooke and Bryce Barber, Quinlan; Nate and Allie Pringle, Kemp; Praylee Taylor, Tool; Ethan and Isabel May, Tool; and Dillon Taylor, Kemp; and cousin James Pringle, Irving.

Nedra Welock
Services for Nedra E. Welock, 70, Seven Points, were held Dec. 16, 2008, in Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points, with Bro. Floyd Loven officiating. Interment followed in King Cemetery in Kemp under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Welock was born Nov. 19, 1938, in Gilmer, the daughter of the late Blanch and Samuel Weathers and died Dec. 11, 2008, in Tyler.
Survivors include her husband Maurice Wallace; son Joseph Welock; stepson Dan Welock; stepdaughter Lisa Woolluns; sister Corene Weathers; and brother Lindly Weathers.
