  D.C. Porter
Graveside services for D.C. Porter, 79, Canton, will be held at a later date at Four Mile Cemetery in Van Zandt County.
Porter was born March 1, 1929, in Van Zandt County to Alta Lorene Furth and Jack Walton Porter and died Dec. 9, 2008, in Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 39 years Pearl Orea Porter in 1998 and sister Gwen Greathouse.
He worked with cattle, horses and for the State of Texas, helping build Farm-to-Market 47. He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints in Wills Point.
He was ordained to the office of Elder in 1999. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and was a Wills Point resident until 2007. He married Pearl Orea Sinclair in 1959.
Survivors include cousin Ricky Porter, Wills Point; niece Cindy Smith; and other relatives, including Gunderson relatives as well as others in Van Zandt County.
Memorials may be made to the local Odd Fellows Chapter, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Wills Point or Genesis Hospice Care of Athens.

Marie Clemmo

A Mass of Christian Burial services for Marie Clemmo, 87, Kemp, were held Dec. 19, 2008, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City. Interment followed in Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Anderson-Clayton Bros. of Kemp.
Clemmo was born Dec. 2, 1921, in St. Johnsville, N.Y. to the late Marie Wetterau and Ogden Walrath and died Dec. 16, 2008, in Kaufman.
She was a foundation member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Irving and member of the St. Jude Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City.
Survivors include her husband Yale Clemmo, Kemp; son Gregg Clemmo and wife Diana, Kemp; daughter Jill Foust and husband Jerry, Highland Village; grandchildren Richard Clemmo, Tony Burns and Stacey Foust; great-grandchildren Colton Clemmo, Tyler Clemmo and one on the way; numerous relatives and a host of friends.

Barbara Webb
A memorial visitation for Barbara V. Webb, 75, Tool, was held Dec. 17, 2008, at Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points. Interment was in King Cemetery, Dec. 18, 2008.
Webb was born July 18, 1933, in Picher, Okla., the daughter of the late Naomi and Jay Vickery and died Dec. 15, 2008, in Tool. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Edward Webb Jr.
Survivors include her daughters Diana and husband Bill Blackerby and Teresa and husband Tony Glenn; sons Justin Webb and Charles and wife Sandy Weathers Webb; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
