    Peggy Jane Cole
Services for Peggy Jane Cole, 71, Mabank, were held at Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Byron Jones and Dan Hawkins officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park in Seagoville under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Cole was born Aug. 26, 1934, in Dallas and died March 15, 2006, in Gun Barrel City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cole Sr., great-grandchild, Nicholas Stone, parents, George and Vera McMillen, brother, George McMillen and sister, Patricia Rogers.
Previously of Mesquite, she lived in Gun Barrel City since 1974 and participated in activities at First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City. She was an office manager.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Blaine Cole Jr., Gun Barrel City; and Ronald W. Cole, Baxter; daughters, Debra Long, Mabank; Pamela Pottorf and husband Scott, Gun Barrel City; and Wendy Banghart and husband Kevin, Gun Barrel City; sister, Betty Moseley, Gun Barrel City; grandchildren, Dustin Earl Long, Christopher Cole, Colton Banghart, Cameron Banghart, Danica Mai McKinney, Crystal Stone, Destiny Pottorf, Sydnee Pottorf, Maddy Banghart and Amy Cole; great-grandchildren, Ryan Bauks, Justin Cole, Haley Ward, Kaylee Stone and Shelby Stone.
Pallbearers were Christopher Cole, Daniel Stone, Bobby Carter, Harold Rogers and Gerald Rogers Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Dustin Long and Roger Coker.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Society.

Roy P. Burris
Services for Roy P. Burris, 94, Tool, were held March 12, 2006, in the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Phil McShan officiating. Burial was in Tool Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Burris was born Feb. 20, 1912, in Egypt, Ark., and died March 9, 2006, in Dallas.
Previously of Dallas, he moved to Tool in 1965, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tool. He retired from Allstate Insurance Company and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Burris, Tool; son, Fredie Burris and wife Ginger, DeSoto; daughter, Shirley McShan and husband Guy, Bryan; brothers, Leon Burris, Jonesboro, Ark.; Kenneth Burris, Austin; and Charles Burris, Egypt, Ark.; grandchildren, Jeff McShan, Steve Burris, Darin Burris, Phil McShan, Brenda McShan and Sherry Johnson; great-grandchildren, Dylan Burris, Spencer McShan and Andrew Burris.

Lee R. Jasper
Services for Lee R. Jasper, 70, Mabank, were held March 13, 2006, at Eubank Cedar Creek Chapel with Dr. Ron Holloman officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Jasper was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Casey County, Ky., and died March 10, 2006, in Plano.
Previously of Richardson, he had lived in the Cedar Creek Lake area since 1992. He retired from Texas Instruments in 1996. He was an engineering technician and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Plano Elks Lodge No. 2485.
Survivors include his wife, Elise Jasper, Cedar Creek Lake; sons, Michael Jasper, Dickinson; David Jasper, Canyon; and James Jasper and wife Tina, Plano; daughters, Sandra Tutt and husband Joe, Rowlett; and Sharon Broussard, West Lake, La.; sister, Lois Dause and husband Jim, Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeff Walker, Clayton Jasper, Jason Rawlings, John Ybarra, Jake Ybarra, Cody Jasper, Lee Jasper, Joey Ybarra, Matthew Jasper, Garret Jasper, Christina Walker, Tanna Jasper, Jessica Jasper and Michelle Jasper.

Kenneth Rudd
Services for Kenneth “Wayne” Rudd, 67, Scurry, were held March 15, 2006, at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel in Seagoville with the Rev. Al Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Roselawn Memorial Park in Seagoville under the direction of Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville.
Rudd was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Waxahachie to the late Arnel and Thelma Wade Rudd and died March 13, 2006, in Ferris. He is preceded in death by a son, Kirk Rudd, June 7, 1999.
He was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Rudd, Scurry; son, Kenny Rudd and wife Sandy, Ennis; daughter-in-law, Suzi Rudd, Dallas; granddaughters, Amanda and Kelsey Rudd, Dallas; sister, Betty Story, Waxahachie; numerous friends and relatives.

Jerrie Dale Stone
Services for Jerrie Dale Stone, 56, Mabank, were held March 17, 2006, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Royce Parker officiating.
Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Stone was born Aug. 7, 1949, in Kemp and died March 14, 2006, in Kaufman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lena Dee Clark, sisters, Wanda Featherstone and Bobbie Bookman; former husband, Carroll Stone.
She was a clerk for the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.
Survivors include her son Jeremy and wife Samantha Stone, Mabank; daughter Shannon and husband John Holcomb, Mabank; brother, Joe Clark, Mabank; sisters, Pam Calhoun, Payne Springs; Beverly Medford, Mabank; and Carolyn McMillan; grandchildren, Matthew Holcomb, Brooke Holcomb and Michah Stone.
Pallbearers were Johnny Adams, John Walter Hyde, John M. Chappell, Bryan Stone, Patrick Hatley and Eddie Morse.
Honorary pallbearers were Eric Tarleton, Richard Craft and Kaufman County Sheriff David Byrnes.
