Irene McConaghie
Services for Irene Verda McConaghie, were held July 24, 2006, at the
Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel in Kaufman.
Interment was in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Parker-Ashworth
Funeral Home in Kaufman.
McConaghie was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Delaware, Okla., and died July 21,
2006, in a Dallas hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Franklin McConaghie.
She was raised in Seminole, Okla., and lived in Borger, McClain and
Tulsa, Okla. She married Robert Franklin McConaghie Feb. 14, 1930, in
Seminole, Okla. They moved to the Scurry area and lived there 41 years.
Survivors include her sons Bob McConaghie, Owasso, Okla; and Joe
McConaghie, Yates Center, Kan.; daughters Treva Riehl, Amarillo; Evelyn
Frankum, Kemp; Betty Brooks, Scurry and Barbara Morrell, Colmesneil;
brothers Ellis Middaugh, Tulsa, Okla.; Vernon Middaugh, Borger; and Gene
Middaugh, Wetumka, Okla.; sister Vera Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 28
great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Vernon Hutchens
Graveside services for Vernon Ray Hutchens were held July 26, 2006, in
Denton under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points.
Hutchens was born June 2, 1931, in Chillicothe and died July 23, 2006,
in Tyler.
He retired from Eastman Kodak after 34 years service.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sarah; son Kenneth and Jane
Hutchens; grandchildren Shelby and Peyton Hutchens, The Woodlands;
brother Quinton Hutchens, Salt Lake City, Utah; and brother-in-law Ray
and Suzie White, Houston.

Nona Lile
Services for Nona “Bea” Lile, 80, Mabank, were held July 29, 2006, in
the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. George Yarger officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home
in Mabank.
Lile was born Dec. 25, 1925, in Celeste and died July 26, 2006, in
Malakoff.
She was a homemaker. Previously of Dallas, she had lived in Mabank for
three years and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her husband Travis Lile, Mabank; daughter Audrey
Barton and husband Larry, Mabank; grandchildren Jimmy Barton, Penny
Whitney and Kenneth Barton; great-grandchildren Justin Whitney and
Heather Whitney; nieces and nephews.
Edith Mae Pruett
Services for Edith Mae Pruett, 93, Mabank, were held July 28, 2006, in
the Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas with the Rev. James Jacobs
officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home
in Mabank.
Pruett was born March 18, 1913, in Dallas and died July 25, 2006, in
Athens.
She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip H. Pruett, daughter
Linda Buchanan and son Larry G. Pruett.
She was a homemaker. Previously of Balch Springs, she had lived in
Mabank for the past 11 years and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her daughters Betty Rowell, Arlington; Shirley Foster,
Payne Springs; Jo Winters and Mary Carroll, both of Mesquite.
Harold McDougald
Graveside services for Harold L. McDougald were held July 28, 2006, in
Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. Dub Henry officiating under the direction
of Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp.
McDougald was born March 23, 1930, in Kaufman County to the late Olen
Emory and Cletus (Pyle) McDougald and died July 24, 2006, in Pasadena.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Faye McDougald.
He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a veteran of the U.S. Army
serving during the Korean War.
Survivors include his brothers Huey McDougald and wife Dorothy; Bo
McDougald and wife Linda; sisters Shirley Bruner and husband Roger; and
Mary Smith and husband Dennis, all of the Styx Community; numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
