Bettie Jo McKenzie

Services for Bettie Jo McKenzie, 73, Mabank, were held Aug. 26, 2006, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kaufman, with the Rev. Shade Stringer officiating.
Interment followed in the Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Kaufman County.
McKenzie was born March 10, 1933, in Kaufman to Theodore Boyd Stringer and Rosa Etta Driver, and died Aug. 22, 2006, in Garland. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Dickson McKenzie April 10, 2005.
She loved gardening and playing dominoes, and was a good cook. Her family was very important to her. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, and was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include sons David Earl McKenzie and wife Debbie of Garland, and Arthur Neal McKenzie of Houston; daughters Patricia Ann McKenzie of Plano, and Martha L. Jackson and husband Randy of Forney; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Gerald Everett Stringer and wife Mary June of Garland, Theodore Stringer Jr. and wife Shirley of Garland,,, and Kenneth Stringer and wife Kathy of Longview.
Pallbearers were Shawn Warner, Matt Stringer, Bob Jackson, William Jackson, and Randy Jackson.

Claudia Marie Frayre
Services for Claudia Marie Frayre, infant, Mabank, were held Aug. 25, 2006, at Cedar Creek Memorial Park with Deacon Richard Sykora officiating, under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Frayre was born Aug. 21, 2006, in Athens and died Aug. 22, 2006, in Dallas.
Survivors include her mother Ashley Torres, Mabank; father Carlos Frayre, Mabank; grandmother and stepgrandfather Cheryl Noble and husband Donald, Mabank; grandfather David Torres and wife Maria, Ferris; great-grandfather Domitlio Frayre and wife Gloria, Dallas; great-grandmother Jo Ann Borden and husband Jerry, Seven Points; great-grandmother Janie Torres, Dallas; uncles David Torres, Ferris, and Javier Frayre, Dallas; and many family members.

Ray Robinson
Services for Ray Leon Robinson, 79, Mabank, were held Aug. 26, 2006, in the First United Methodist Church in Mabank with the Revs. Royce Riley, John Howard and John Robinson officiating. Interment was in Cedar Creek Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Robinson was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Esteline and died Aug. 23, 2006, in Athens.
He had been a resident of Mabank since 1985, and served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was of the Methodist faith and retired from the Waka ISD in 1988, where he was a superintendent/coach.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Principal in Booker. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas in 1944 and East Texas State University in Commerce.
Survivors include his wife Jean Robinson, Mabank; sons Doug Robinson and wife Sarah, Mesquite; John Robinson and wife Linda, Coppell; daughters Cathy Kinzer, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Vicki Anderson and husband Glen, Albuquerque, N. M.; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

Minnie Lou Hoglin
A memorial service for Minnie Lou Hoglin, 81, Mabank, will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 27, 2006, (today) at the American Legion Post on State Highway 198 in Gun Barrel City under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Hoglin was born was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Kaufman and died Aug. 17, 2006, in Mabank.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons Glen, Greg, John and Harley Hoglin; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Fred Morgan
Services for Fred Morgan, 68, Mabank, were held Aug. 24, 2006, at the Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Terry Adair officiating. Interment was in King Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Morgan was born July 22, 1938, in Antlers, Okla. and died Aug. 22, 2006, in Mabank. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Irene Peazler; children Theresa Morgan, Terry Morgan and Shannon Morgan.
He had lived in Mabank for 30 years. Special thanks to Randy and Debbie Smith, Lynn Stevens, Rose Martin and all of the V.N.A. staff of Kaufman for all their love.
Survivors include his son Phillip Morgan, Gun Barrel City; daughters Tammy Gant and husband Martin, Gun Barrel City; Lisa Gibson and husband Larry, Hawkins; and Stephanie Gill and husband Jessie, Azle; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, other family members and many friends.
