KHS sports banquet
Kemp High School will host its annual spring sports banquet at 7 p.m.
Monday, May 12, at the KHS cafetorium.

one of the following Athletic Booster Club members – Robert or Rita
Emfinger, Debbie King, Frank Gorka, Stella McCown, Kristie Carr or
Debbie Moore.
EHS sets sports banquet
Eustace High School Athletic Boosters are sponsoring the annual banquet
for EHS athletes Saturday, May 17, at the Cain Center in Athens.
Tickets are $5 each, and are available at the high school. Tickets must
be purchased by Friday, May 2; no tickets will be available at the door.
KofC golf tourney set
The Knights of Columbus are holding their annual scholarship golf
tournament, starting with lunch at noon Friday, May 23, at Kings Creek
Golf Club. Fee for the four-man scramble event is $200 per team or $55
per person. Price includes round of golf, cart and lunch. Cash prizes go
to the top three teams. A hole-in-one contest prize is a 1500 Silverado
crew cab Chevrolet pickup. Make check payable to K of C Council No.

Rotary Club sets golf tournament
The Rotary Club of Cedar Creek Lake hosts its annual benefit golf
tournament Friday, May 9, at the Twin Lakes Golf Course south of Canton.
Fee for the four-man scramble tournament is $75 per player or $300 per
team, which includes lunch and cart. Deadline for registration is
Friday, May 2. Check-in is 9:30 a.m. with a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Tri-County Ford in Mabank is sponsoring a 2008 Ford or a Ruff & Tuff
golf vehicle as a hole-in-one prize. For more information, call (903)

Mabank athletic banquet slated
Mabank Athletic Booster Club will host the annual varsity athletic
awards presentations Saturday, May 10, at the Mabank Middle School
cafeteria.
A barbecue dinner will open the banquet at 5 p.m., followed by the
program. Tickets are $12 each, and are available at the high school
athletic office.
