KERENS–Kerens City Council voted March 10 to sign a five-year contract with Hudson Energy to lock in municipal electricity costs after the current deal with TXU Energy expires next year.
The Athens High School choir program sent 34 students to compete in the recent UIL Solo and Ensemble Choir contest at Whitehouse. Choir students received a total of 24 superior ratings, with 13 members qualifying for the state competition.Read more
