SEVEN POINTS –They took their licks, but Cedar Creek Brewery made it to six. Six years, that is. That was the mantra of the Aug. 4 Sixth Anniversary of Cedar Creek Brewery, 336 E. Cedar Creek Parkway, It was an occasion so grand, it rated free admission, live music, 18 beers on tap, and a Festival Food Menu by Plowboy's Cafe. Company founder Jim Elliott discussed on Facebook that he brought back some beers from the past for that day only and they had the smoker going. The crowd of fans on Facebook buzzing with excitement about the anniversary obviously knew one another well. Scott Davis: "Smoked brisket, pulled chicken, footling corn dogs and burgers!"
